I'm a frequent customer. Echo Coffee is my office away from the office. It's the perfect atmosphere for getting some work done and gearing up for the day. Unlike some shops, the music is at just the right level. It's a good mix of music too, akin to XMU on SiriusXM. The staff is friendly and attentive. The quality and consistency of the food is excellent. I'm not positive but I think there is one woman who dedicates herself to baking everything in the case. The quiche is amazing and I'm not a big quiche person. All the food is presented with nice finishing touches. For instance, I order yogurt with granola at every coffee shop. There is no comparison to Echo's. Most shops will give you something you can make for yourself at home... yogurt with store-bought granola and, if you lucky, some frozen fruit. Echo's is a standout. They start with plain yogurt and add own special flavor/sweetener. It's topped with amazing house-made granola, then a generous portion of fresh fruit and dried cranberries. Order it. You won't be disappointed. Coffee. If you're ordering drip coffee you're going to get a fresh cup of pour over coffee. If you're unfamiliar with this, it means that after you order your coffee they are going to grind fresh beans. Then put the ground beans in a filter cone and pour hot water over it. It's going to take about 3 minutes, so relax. They will make you the freshest cup of coffee...

If you're just getting started in the specialty-coffee world and want to see how good coffee should taste, Echo Coffee is your best bet in this area. Ask for a pour-over and enjoy. Echo recently gave themselves a face lift with new coffee bean names and high-quality resealable coffee bags that perfectly compliment their fantastic array of specialty roasted beans. You can even 'meet the farmer' by scanning the QC code on the bag itself to learn where the beans came from. Echo appreciates and celebrates the journey of the beans, and the quality of their brews and beans speak for themselves. Echo is a purist specialty-coffee shop, and values quality drinks over quantity - you wont find an infinite array of froofy-coffee drinks like at Dutch Brothers, but the options available are of the highest quality. They even have a great specialty decaf bean option (which has been hard for us to find). With friendly baristas who are always willing to geek out about their coffee, I will miss my weekly visits. Thank you Echo for making us smile...
Read moreOver the last 3 years i have been coming to this coffee shop and have spend $1000s. Today I came with a starbucks coffee in hand and sat down after I couldn't find a spot to sit at starbucks. 30 minutes in one of their workers Rob came up to me and announced out loud that it was disrespectful to show up with another coffee shops coffee to their store, which I completely understand if I was a new comer. Just the week prior I spent over a $100 working form there. When I reminded him that I had spent 100s of dollars just in the last 3 months and am a loyal customer if he just asks the people who work at the counter and that I'm still planning on buying stuff all day, he proceeded by saying he doesn't care and that "he owns the store" (not the owner I met previously). He then asked me to leave when I put my headphones on to stop the banter. Most of the staff there know me and sometimes they give me free coffee since I go there so much and spend $. This is not how you treat a loyal customer but humiliating them publicly. I have 15 karma points to cash out for free food there and after I will not be shopping...
