Streets of New York — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Had a good previous experience with this place but this most recent time was extremely disappointing. Service was pretty good, friendly and whatnot but the food was AWFUL. I didn't mind the long wait for our takeout because I'm willing to wait for something good. When I got the order home and began to eat I got about halfway through my slice and realized other than the end of the slice the dough was straight up RAW. Took some pics because its pretty hard to believe but it was straight stretchy raw pizza dough in the center. Beyond that our wings were super overcooked. Not sure if this is a company wide issue but clearly the wings are cooked and held for quite a while and then refired to order. They tasted really dry and had that old leftover chicken taste. I tossed the food and called the store to warn them about what the kitchen is sending out. I would have brought the food back to show but live a bit far to make that trip a second time in one night. The person working thanked me for calling but did not offer anything to compensate. It was a pricey learning experience.

Honestly, it makes me sad to see these reviews. UPDATE: I meant what I said four years ago, we gave too many second chances. But I miss this great place and what it once was. So I’m checking to see, has the Asst Mgr been replaced? Is the owner still the young man who saved his money from his Video Clerk job at Scottsdale Video and bought this place? Because he and his daughter were the best! Waiting it out. . .

We've come here for 25 years and has always been a go-to, good food, hospitable place. Over the past 6 months, we've had 3 extremely bad experiences with being over charged, not honoring special text prices, and then being corrected by the nice manager, but then continuing to be treated badly by the very unprofessional, crude asst manager. Some of these stories of loud talk, talking about customers and being anything but hospitable happened to us too many times. Oh well. Things change. Well, the meal was fine. Unfortunately the customer service was so great. Three if us walked in and selected a booth. We sat there for around 5 minutes before I got up to ask if there was someone to wait on us and if we could get a menu. There were two young women standing there talking. One of them gave us menus and I went back to the booth. A couple minutes later she came to take our drink order. I also asked for another place setting as there were only two on the table. I actually had to ask three times before she brought one. That was after she brought our meal. The place was half full so they weren't overly busy. Then, when she brought the check, she gave ours to the table across from us and gave us theirs. It was the first time my wife and I had been there.
