Gyros Plus — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Went in today to order take out. Simple order turned into total mess up by who ever was ringing up order. They like to be paid in cash, they give you a discount. You use a cc you pay more. Lady who was coming came out with attitude. The entire order was so messed up what should of been $30 something was like $50 something. Lady starts hitting the sign you pay more because you use credit card. Then gets in my mother's face and says you don't have to take it. I wish I was in there when she was pulling this Lil act. Very rude woman very. My mother told her we don't want it. He was apologizing, don't listen to her. We will never step foot into this place again. You won't last in business treating people this way especially when the order is messed up and over charged. The lady needs to get a grip you don't get in people's face. So a couple months ago I passed this spot up to visit the taco shop next door. After smelling the food from a co-worker I thought I’d go and try it out. My husband makes the best Greek dishes so I wasn’t too excited to go inside. The front desk hostess is super nice and her nails are always cute! I ordered the Chicken plate. It came with yellow rice with sautéed red & green peppers, and onions on top. Get this….They toast a entire piece of pita bread and just toss it over the plate. So bread is not good for anyone but let me tell you that bread makes the whole dish just lit! Everything was filled with flavor it was fresh, hot, and just so yummy! Probably my favorite spot for lunch when I'm in the office. It is always busy, so much so that they moved into a larger space last year. The restaurant itself is not at all fancy but the food is great. Try their pick a meat salad with marinated chicken but my coworkers love the regular and chicken gyros as well. Their Pita bread blows Pita Jungle's right out of the water (which is not all that hard to do but that's another post ). I always take out but if you dine in, just know this is a place where you order at the counter and then pick up your food. The girl who mostly works up front is great and she always gets the order right.
