4-Star Review: A Mostly Great Experience at Snooze!

I'm sharing my experience at Snooze, with some highlights and areas for improvement.

Positives:

Delicious Pineapple Pancakes: The pineapple pancakes were a standout dish, and I thoroughly enjoyed them.

Family-Friendly Menu: My wife and daughter loved their meals, and the menu seemed to cater to a variety of tastes.

Attentive Service: Our waitress did a great job attending to our needs.

Complimentary Beverages While Waiting: The coffee and water available while we waited were a nice touch.

Rooms for Improvement:

Long Wait Time: Although we anticipated a long wait on Mother's Day, the estimated time was exceeded. We were seated outside, which wasn't the most comfortable arrangement given the 100-degree heat. While the shade and sprinklers provided some relief, the sprinklers kept dripping on my daughter, which was a bit annoying.

Overall Experience:

Despite the long wait and outdoor seating challenges, our experience at Snooze was mostly great. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive. With some adjustments to seating and wait management, Snooze could elevate its experience.

Recommendations for improvement:

Consider adjusting seating arrangements on extremely hot days or providing more shaded areas. Ensure sprinklers are adjusted to minimize dripping on customers.

Overall, Snooze is a great spot for breakfast or brunch, and we appreciated the complimentary beverages...

This was my first experience with Snooze and likely won’t be the last! I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito which was flavorful and over-filled (in only the best of ways!). I asked for extra crispy hash browns inside and was actually given that! I know that seems like it shouldn’t be a novelty but anytime I’ve ordered this at a restaurant they’re still basically raw and mushy which I find very unappetizing...so I was impressed! I also loved how their online ordering allowed for so many user-friendly customizations. I wasn’t a fan of the green chili sauce, but, that’s just my preference. I’ll have to try a regular salsa of theirs next time. The gentlemen who brought me my order was also very friendly so that was another plus! 😺

My only complaint is that they heavily advertised that they were offering free delivery for the holidays over $20 but when trying to select this it didn’t mention this store didn’t have this option available. I had to restart my order several times because of this since apparently Kierland didn’t have “drivers available” either. This was pretty annoying and frustrating especially because I was in a huge hurry unfortunately and was excited they would save me time by delivering my meal- complimentary at that. Hopefully they find a way to make the delivery piece of their site more clear in the future!

I have eaten at Snooze many times and everything was fine. Today, however, everything was awful. My friend and I showed up around 10:30am. Though there were many people waiting, the restaurant was almost empty. They said the wait was 30-50 mins. We figured that the weight would be 30-50 mins anywhere, so we waited. Again, the restaurant want empty. 30 mins in I asked if they had my phone number right because usually when I give them my phone number, I get a confirmation text, which I did not receive. They said it was right. 50 mins in, I asked where we were on the list because it seemed everyone had been seated, even people who came after us. They said they texted me but I didn't respond. I never received a text. They sat us immediately. Service and food was fine. However, our waitress only had two tables. As someone who grew up with a father who owned a restaurant, I would imagine the waitress having 4-6 tables. Again, the restaurant was empty when we were there, yet there was a long line outside. I don't recommend anyone goes to this place. They will make you wait 50 mins for no reason and suspiciously never text you when...
