I just returned from Culver's and lets just say my experience was not a good one. I will say that the place was very very clean and well kept (bravo for that). There were also nice, large TV's that were showing the football game. The two young boys working the cashier were very nice. My mom was taking quite a while to look over the menu and they asked if she had any questions etc. We ordered and went to sit down in the "dining area". Once we sat down there were two employees eating. I assumed they were on their lunch break or had just gotten off work and were having a bite to eat. It was a male and a female employee. The male employee was extremely rude and obnoxious. He was sitting in the booth chewing up his food and opening his mouth to show his other co workers who were all the way across the establishment behind the cash registers. Everyone who was sitting in the "dining area" was looking at him in disgust. You are an employee, yes you are probably 15 or 16 but really? I was so grossed out by this! The he continued to do that while laying down across the booth and flailing his arms and legs knocking into the table causing a lot of noise and a scene. I don't know who the manager is, but I don't find that acceptable at all.
Food: All of my midwest friends rave about this place. I honestly have no idea why. I ordered a burger. It looked nothing like what it was supposed to look like and the actual meat part of it was paper thin and crispy looking (ew). My mom ordered the pulled pork BBQ sandwich and they brought out something else but were very nice and responsive and brought out the correct food quickly. She didn't think the food was that great either.
Let's just say I will not be returning, and maybe the management needs to reevaluate allowing employees to take breaks with customers, or else clean house. That is not acceptable anywhere for an employee to behave as...
Read moreI run a Day Program and we where starting to go to this location every other Friday. We'd typically spend 150.00$ between all the members and Staff. Service usually Awesome. One of my members started ordering Shrimp with Cocktail sauce and Tarter sause. One Friday we go there place the order get back and no sause with his order. Lucky we found some so member still ate. We go to Calvers two more times and second time it happens again. I call explain what happened because it's the second time and this time I had nun to replace it and member refused to eat it. Calvers tells me to bring in the receipt next time i come through and they'll replace the order of Shrimp. I go there the next Friday explain to the lady at the windows the situation she tells me no problem. I pull forward to wait for my order get my order no Shrimp. I stop the person and say what happened to the Shrimp? They explain to me the Girl was new and messed up didn't realize we had to look for my name first. I said that's fine did you find my name? Let me check Almost 8 minutes gose by after the 5 I spent waiting for to get someone Attention to ask about the Shrimp. Finally a manager comes out and say I'm sorry I can't find your name so we can't replace that order. Witch I replied wait a minute you told me you would replace over the phone then in person. Make me wait close to 15mins while there foods getting cold to come back and tell me there not gonna honor there mistakes. I explained to the boy that if they don't honor it we'll stop coming there. He shoulder shrug like doesn't matter to me! Lol! Oh the best part is as he's telling me he can't replace the Shrimp, One of the workers who was told about there mistake made sure to run me out the Cocktail and Tarter sause for the Shrimp Lol So thank you for that extra instant to injury. Sincerely Staff and...
Read moreMessage for "true/regional/GM" management and owners: We "were" regular customers at Culver's, Scottsdale for quite some time. We go at least 3-4x per week for either quick driver thru meals or stopping by for concrete mixers. For the first time today, we had a bad experience, thought it wasn't a big deal, theres a miss every now and then anywhere. However, the way it was handled was disappointing and a very bad experience altogether. Dropped by as usual, bought a couple of meals and mixers in drive thru - wait as always was long (15+ mins or so). That wasn't the issue. When we returned home, burger buns were soggy and wet, wouldn't hold the burger, fries were old and limp (soggy) - one fry had a full serving - other fry was empty and there were a "few" fries at the bottom of the bag. I called it to provide feedback, however wouldn't be going back out. I spoke with "Noah" - shift "manager" - he told me unless I brought the food/garbage back there isn't anything he could do. I explained we are regulars, first time issue however wasn't going back out again to deliver the horrible food we received. Noah failed to help. I did inform him I would share my experience along with photos of the food and he said "OK."
This tells me there is no consequences to actions and I also wonder what other issues there are if managers aren't receiving feedback and making it right with customers, let alone regular ones that support the business.
Survey 0QTAW8YVFNDPS0J ---- why the survey if your front line managers just told your regular customers they don't care about quality, satisfaction, or possibly "dirty dining." Re-evaluate Noah's position as manager, because there is no managing, it's losing customers. Our $30+ went right in...
