I’ve been coming to Hello Vietnam ever since they first opened. They have been good in the past but this has recently changed. This past Sunday. I placed my order at 4:45pm, was told it would be ready at 5:11pm. When I arrived, I was handed the wrong order but thankfully I noticed before I got to my car. When I went back inside, after several minutes I was told I placed my order at the Tatum location and it was prepared and ready there. I knew I checked the order before I placed it and showed the staff that I indeed did place the order at the Shea location. Then they were claiming I did not pay. I showed them my receipt, which also included a tip to prove I paid. All this was going on with several calls back and forth with the owner while I was waiting for them to figure how they were going to fix the issue with my order. After waiting 10 – 15 minutes, they told me they would remake my order. Then I was told that someone else picked up my order. I did not question why I was told something else originally but I still waited for them to remake my order. In the meantime, a few tables came in and were sat. They all ordered, started to receive their food, while I still waited. Over one hour later when I told them I had to leave, they finally gave me my order to go. By this time, it was too late. I had planned to eat with guests who needed to head to the airport and by the time I arrived home, they had already left which was a good thing. When I opened my order, the food was terrible. The beef bowls had were just a bunch of lettuce with a bunch of noodles stuck together and two of three pieces of beef and the chicken steamed rice was cold. The fresh roles were barely held together as well. Sadly, I had prepaid a tip for the terrible service and food (lesson learned) so this will be my last visit to Hello Vietnam. There are other options in the area with much better service and food quality so do your research but don’t waste your time...
Read moreEasy 5 star review. Easiest 5 star review I have ever given, in fact. My husband and I love Vietnamese sandwiches. The space in the restaurant is incredibly elegant for the location and prices. The place was nigh unto spotless. Floors were clean, tables were clean, and nothing really spoiled it. Bathrooms were clean and elegant. The servers worked diligently to keep the dining area clean.
The two Hispanic servers, Blanca and Maria, were attentive, actively serving us, multi-tasking to do evening work and serving other tables without neglecting us. Over the course of our visit, they regularly refilled our water glasses and provided timely service. If some food was taking a bit long, they communicated about it with us.
The food itself is very good. For the prices, the Vietnamese sandwiches were entirely worth what you pay for and you don't end up paying through the nose for them, either. The cook and seasoning on especially the lemongrass beef sandwich resulted in stunning, powerful flavor. The vegetables were plentiful. The sandwich bread was perfectly toasted.
For what we came for, stunning Vietnamese sandwiches, affordable prices ($8 per sandwich) and attentive, hard-working servers, 5 stars. Bonus for the ambient music covers playing at the perfect volume for the setting. Bonus for the tasteful, elegant, calming aesthetic.
I highly recommend it.
Side note: The table tops are covered in glass. If children are banging on them, they will probably be asked to stop so they don't create a hazard, and a server has every right to address such an issue. It doesn't...

Well, quite simply I want to say how impressed I am the way Helen, the owner ended up handling just a very small problem for my friend, who is very ill right now.
It was probably a small problem as for an elderly lady who really took this is something big and I couldn’t really express it directly to the employees that was there. However, he was really good and he told me Helen would call me. She did. I’ve already expressed how delicious her food is, but none of that means anything without excellent customer service, and I highly recommend patronizing this restaurant because even if there’s a problem which happens, we’re all human they take care of it. Uber eats was really involved and she took care of that part two even know it might’ve caused her some hardship in the wrong long run very smart business. I’m very pleased the way you can talk to the owner and how accessible she was. 6 Stars- ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️, ⭐️ !!!!
