Great food, decent service. We arrived on Friday morning after about a 45 minute walk from our hotel ready for breakfast.
The hostess was at the hostess stand and greeted us as we walked in and showed us to our table right away.
The restaurant is set up for people to truly enjoy the establishment from joining friends to a party of one while finishing up work.
I do not partake in carbs nor sugar so was having a bit of a tough time deciding on what to order. I asked my waitress if I could order the steak burrito without the tortilla and she offered that yes I could have it in the form of a bowl. I removed the French fries and replaced with brussels sprouts. What an excellent choice. My dish was AMAZING!
My friend’s daughter ordered the steak burrito as shown and raved at how great it was multiple times.
My daughter ordered the churro French toast and she also loved it!
My friend had an eggs benedict I recall there being two not sure which it was but guessing the Eleanor Benedict. She felt her eggs were overcooked and the server offered to fix this. Here is where I think they missed. They brought out two super runny eggs when the first were soft boiled and not poached. The eggs are now hot but the rest of the Benedict is now cool and the hollandaise is now atop the other egg. .
Again, a miss there but each other dish made our taste buds dance so I would definitely return if in...
Read moreThis is such a darling little place! It's very bright and clean, although my table wasn't clean when I sat down. However, it wasn't too dirty..just had a little water on it. No biggie!
I ordered the blueberry pancakes. They were tasty but I don't like my pancakes that thick! (I'm sure I'm in the minority on this one but I just like my pancakes really thin almost like crêpes.) to me when the pancakes are that thick they tend to suck up all of the syrup! Again, I know most people like their pancakes, super thick and fluffy, but I like mine then. With that said, the flavor was pretty good. It also came with this wonderful maple butter, which I really enjoyed. the sausage is made there in-house and it had a nice little kick to it. I enjoyed the sausage. The presentation was nice. Ashley was a wonderful server. She even offered me coffee to go and that was pretty cool. I give it four stars only because I wasn't crazy about the pancakes but I'm sure others will really enjoy it. when I come back, I probably will not order the pancakes again. I think I'll try the French toast, or maybe the salmon Benedict. It's a cute place and it's...
Read moreIt was our first time to the Eleanor and it also happened to be Memorial Day. It was highly recommended I try brunch there from an employee at a sister restaurant so I was looking forward to it. I made a reservation as suggested. It started out well. We ordered our food and drinks. Things started to not go well when we noticed we were on our second cocktail and our food had not arrived. We asked the server to check on our order and she apologized for the delay which we appreciated. We then observed the large party seated after us being served their food. Our food was eventually delivered by the food runner after an hour and lukewarm. I addressed my concerns with him and he shrugged his head and said busy day and walked away. It was at this time I asked to speak with a manager. Normally most people with this experience would potentially leave a bad review but the Manager Vince quickly changed the narrative. Riley was super sweet and kept us informed. Vince went out of his way to take care of us and we are grateful for his level of accountability. Vince thank you! We will be back....
