Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Unfortunately, this is my local Starbucks and I have found myself here number of times and while sometimes I don’t have any issues most the time I do. I drink it often. Very strange. It doesn’t resemble the drink I ordered. Weights can be very long sometimes and absolutely nobody in the store is friendly, they are all too busy to give you the time of day and if you stop them from what they’re doing to ask them a question they act very frustrated that you’re bothering them. My experience today has forced me never to return to this location. I ordered my drink via the mobile app for pick up to try and avoid the long lines as I’m already running late this morning and I stood and waited for 25 minutes before getting in line because I couldn’t flag down anyone making drinks for two seconds to ask about mine. Turns out mine was the one that was sitting on the counter for the last 15 minutes while the shots died in a cup. I told the woman I hope that’s not my drink. That’s been sitting back there on the counter in front of the woman making drinks for 15 minutes and she still gave it to me. I’m not late for work and I have to throw away my eight dollar drink that I waited 25 minutes to get because it taste disgusting never will I return to this location. It was pretty great back in 2009 and I haven’t had much issue until about the last two or three months. I never thought I would have to go into bashes to get a good coffee because I can’t get a good coffee from a very large Starbucks corporate store. This is my...

It's rare they ever make my drink right. I order a salted caramel hot chocolate. It's supposed to have mocha sauce (a lot), toffee nut syrup, caramel syrup, and salt on top (when they have the salt in season). It's supposed to taste rich and bitter at the same time, BUT THEY ALWAYS SKIMP ME ON THE MOCHA SAUCE MAKING IT TASTE LIKE STEAMED MILK WITH A TINY TINY HINT OF CHOCOLATE. I wish they would get training on how to make drinks the same way. I HATE going through the drive through and being excited about getting my drink then pulling away (since there's usually a long line behind me) and tasting my drink then being filled with instant regret and sadness as the taste of nasty warm steamed milk floods my mouth!!!!! By that point I don't want to go wait in the long line to replace my drink and I don't have time to go back. It's a little frustrating. Rant over. I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for over 10 years, and it’s been great to see how much it has improved over time. I remember when this location was much smaller — cozy, but often crowded and hard to find a seat. Since then, they’ve expanded by taking over the next-door space, and the difference is amazing!

Now it’s bright, spacious, and so much more comfortable. There are plenty of tables and seating areas for relaxing, working, or meeting friends. The atmosphere feels open and welcoming without losing that classic Starbucks vibe.

The staff are friendly, the drinks are consistent, and the whole place is always clean and well-kept. Whether you’re here for a quick coffee or to spend a few hours on your laptop, this location is a great spot.
