I'm almost 65 years old and this is the worst restaurant I've ever been in! I'll try to make this short but there's so much! First of all, it's dirty! Floors and all, including the restrooms. The women's restroom didn't lock so I had to have my daughter stand outside the door since it's a one person restroom. When I told the hostess, she acted surprised but I'm sure she knew. Our waitress was awful. First, she took a phone call, and not a short one, while taking our order! Maybe that's why she got one of our orders wrong. The flatbread pizza was supposed to be without mushrooms because of an allergy but it came with mushrooms. Two of our party decided on the restaurant week menu and when she brought their first course, she gave a caprese salad to one and the crustini to the other and they questioned the salad and she said that's the fig something and that's the crustini, so they ate them and didn't question any more. The rest of the party's meals were supposed to come out with the main course of the restaurant week people, but when they did, my caprese salad (my dinner order) didn't come because she gave it as the other's first course even though they questioned it! Then she had the nerve to charge us for TWO caprese salads and argue with us when we said it wasn't fair! She said, "well, he ate it!" She finally took the charge off (I wouldn't have paid for it anyway) but by that time we were OVER IT! Oh and they must've been out of ice because our water came without it and it wasn't even chilled, just room temp. Please don't waste your money! There's plenty of good restaurants...
Read moreMy friend and I wanted to try something new and we stopped by this restaurant. Our server was a young lady, who was extremely courteous, atmosphere was inviting. I ordered the Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and unfortunately, it was one of the worst tasting Gumbo. The owners MUST get a new recipe. It was not served with rice, the veggies were too crisp and the overall taste was not the traditional Southern Cajun style Gumbo. If you're going to do this right, you must serve it with rice and at least crackers or some form of bread. My friend ordered the spicy shrimp tacos and commented that they were horrible. The corn tortillas were dry and tasted like lard, the shrimp was dry as well as the toppings. We both went to Seabrook Cafe afterwards to order dessert to get the taste out of our mouths. This was a terrible dinner and I believe both items were way overpriced for the lack of quality. This is unacceptable. This may have been an off night, but please change the Gumbo recipe and serve with rice and at least some form...
Read moreDid not realize it was Mother's day weekend, so we were trying to find someplace to eat but every place was booked up. So I went onto my OpenTable app to find a place that served steak and this place did not disappoint. It has a really cute outside area if want enjoy the summer breeze. Our waitress/bartender/hostess was so nice and had us laughing the whole evening. This place is a nice place to chill with friends, family or date night. During the week they have ladies night, triva night, live music and of course steak night. The steak was so marvelous and the seasoning was perfect. The cook did something nice for us because they ran out of regular fries so she hand cut us same steak fries. And of course what meal would complete with the dessert which I selected the whiskey bread pudding. I got alittle excited so I took a few bites before I remembered to take a photo. They have a nice selection of draft...
