⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Comfort Food Done Right at the Airport! We stopped at Bad Egg Breakfast Bar while passing through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and it ended up being exactly what we needed. Traveling can be exhausting, and by the time we got there, we were a hungry group of five just craving some good, comforting food—and this place delivered. There was no wait, which was a pleasant surprise for an airport restaurant. The space was clean, modern, and welcoming, and we immediately felt comfortable. Our server, who was also working the bar, was fantastic. Despite being busy, he made it a point to check on us often, kept our drinks topped off, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. The food was delicious, hearty, and satisfying—exactly what we were looking for. Everything came out fresh and hot, and each of us enjoyed our meals. Whether you’re craving a classic breakfast or something with a creative twist, Bad Egg has great options. It’s not easy to find quality food with good service at an airport, but this place really impressed us. We left full, relaxed, and ready for the next leg of our journey. Highly recommend if you’re flying through SEA-TAC!

This place has bad reviews (2.3 stars at the time of this review), but I don’t know, it was fine to me. Nothing amazing, but not terrible. I was comfortable, waitress was very friendly, fast food delivery, fresh cream (not in a one of those single serve cups). The thing that lost stars for me was the coffee was warm (not hot), no ketchup bottles (gave me packets) and as per the trend these days - cost. Too expensive at $17.50. Sure, there are things that they could do to elevate the quality and the aesthetic (fresh jam vs packet, fresh butter vs packet, improve their biscuit-maybe thicker and more buttery and the eggs could have been cooked better to avoid the brown coloration but they honestly were still over-medium, which is what I asked for). I’d come back. It’s an airport, I’d have low expectations to begin with. So, with those expectations it’s satisfactory lol ◡̈ I think it deserves more than 2.3 stars. I give it 3.

BREAKFAST 4 DINNER 🏆 Nothing in the airport should be this good. Seeing the comments I think people aren’t factoring in the bad mood they’re probably in dealing with being an airport or something massively changed. Huge semi loaded Bloody Mary that was actually spicy as it should be. The breakfast burger was great. Bread was soft, veg was crispy, burger was seasoned decently, yolk was runny so if you don’t like that let them know but it was a perfect addition drizzled over my fries that were piping hot. Service was quick, ordered at 9pm for a 10pm boarding. It's by gate N2, not sure if there are multiple. One star dropped bc I’m coming back to make sure it wasn’t a fluke 👀

This restaurant is owned by SSP America.

I used to work as a cook in 2023. When it first opened. pay is very good but this company needs to improve big-time.

You have some workers there that don’t care to do their job and/or follow directions and they’re just hanging out and dumping all the workload on employees who actually do their job and follow directions and there’s not a strong disciplinary action for them. I found food items in the walk-in refrigerator that has been expired for a month and it has not been checked on. This company does not do well when employees go on leave.

I was on maternity/family leave after giving birth of my child. They did not record all my hours that I worked in order for me to get my paid leave I received it later in that year, causing me to have an extension on my leave plus being diagnose for ppd. six months after that I gave a doctors note that I was ok to work. They had me on the schedule to come back and then they turn around and took me off the schedule.

I was denied being put back on the schedule because they have already terminated me three months into my leave and not tell me while still on leave.

I was labeled under not eligible for rehire. wtf

They discriminate against employees who are going on leave or vacation they may not have a job back. some folks wind up quitting and then reapplying after their vacation or leave was over.

This company does not care about having good working employees. they act like they do, but they don’t.

Since this is how they treat mothers after just giving birth to her child, SSP America should get used to getting sued and be prepared to get shut down.

If you’re trying to get a job at SSP...

Ordering is thru QR scan at your table/bar. 22% tip added if you don't authorize payment in a certain time. In my case, I now have two charges on my credit card for just my one meal, one at a price of $31 & chg & the other charge for $22. & chg, prior to adding a diet coke. The server added a diet coke at my request, after I was already eating my meal. So, he explained the 1st ticket was no longer valid, and he authorized my new bill, with everything (including tip, which i asaid to) for $31. & chg. With the assurance there is no 1st ticket out there, since I had already authorized that one before he added the diet coke. He said nope, the 1st one no longer exists, only this final one. See you MUST enter you CARD INFO at the ONSET & pay, in order to be able to order your food, so I wanted to make sure their was only 1 charge! Surprise...BOTH CHARGES HIT MY BANK 2 days AFTER my meal there. That guy knew, cause he got two tips then! I Left Seattle 8/27, ate at this rest. Prior to my flight, was given a copy of my bill/rcpt. No phone number listed for Bad Egg on their Google site, but pics show it is the same one and it says just where it is in the airport. So now I must dispute it. For the price, and the hassle to get a someone's attention to get the drink, refill, along with paying upfront, the food is not good enough to waste my time on them. Bar was crowded, and that's where my table worker & other workers were seated, talking & hanging out most of the time, until they had to notice you cuz you were so noticeable with arm questures, trying to get help, having made eye contact that went ignored...

We found a seat relatively quickly and had to order food on the app. You also have to put in a card to either pay immediately or “start a tab”. I opted to start a tab because I don’t tip until I see the service I’m going to receive. One waitress checked to see if we had ordered anything to drink besides water and we confirmed we had ordered apple juice. She was going to go grab that but never returned with it. Our food came reasonably fast but were missing 2 of 3 sides of bacon. Grabbed waitress again and they brought us burnt/blackened bacon. Granted the place was getting busy but you need to take care of your customers. We finished eating and still no apple juice and my daughter no longer wanted it. I asked the waitress to take it off our bill. I checked the app for 10 minutes and it still wasn’t removed. We grabbed another waitress who got very testy about being busy and she would take care of it. The initial person we asked said she took care of it. Went back to the app and there’s no longer a bill. We checked our bank statement and they had charged us the full bill +22% tip for a “dine and leave” situation. RIDICULOUS! We had to track down a manager who was finally able to refund us equivalent to the juice plus tip. The waitress shot us a nasty look as we left. Food is ok at best and very overpriced, but service is not worthy of a good tip. Check your bill...
