I have been letting alot go with this property over the 2 years I've stayed here. We've defended the staff from other "unhappy" people. Helped protect cleaning women from drug addicts. Always cleaned our room before we left and kept to ourselves. My wife has 2 years of recordings and pictures of this location, holding back other auditors from coming here and making bad reports. She was in an important business call when the rooms above us started being so loud, we literally couldnt hear anything inside our room. My wife called REPEATEDLY to ask the desk to get them to quiet down and were told "its not quiet time yet, they can be as loud as they want". The people upstairs then came outside to yell at my wife who was on the phone, 2 inches outside of our door. Instead of defending us, the management kicked us out. We will be turning in every single recording, cockroach and mold picture we have to our department. We will no longer protect an establishment that throws good customers under the bus in favor of drug addicts and alcoholics. My advice: stay far away.

This will likely be my first and last time staying at a Motel 6. After traveling all day from Yakima by bus, I was eager to have a quick power nap before sightseeing around Seattle for the day. Ten minutes after I lay down, I get a man repeatedly knocking to take a look at the air conditioner, and I had to spend twenty minutes making awkward small talk with him. He tells me the air conditioner is really dirty then leaves. Why he didn't examine the air conditioner prior to check in is beyond me. I had to wake up at 4am to shower before heading to the airport for a 7am flight to Calgary. Unfortunately the shower handle was completely broken. The tab at the bottom of the handle has a piece of broken metal and I didn't see it so my finger got cut. I had to use the sink to shower. Since it was 4am, I didn't have time to resolve this issue with the staff or ask for another room.

The location of this motel is very close to the airport and the train station to downtown Seattle. You could walk there in about 20 minutes. However, this property is not well maintained at all. The room has a funky smell and the inside of the fridge was all rusty. The hair dryer was broken and the shower curtain did not stay close as it kept sliding down the bar. There were also cracks in the bathroom shower wall and paints chipping. In addition, the door needs better weather stripping (terrible for winters) and there's moss just outside the door where it gets wet during the rainy season. To our surprise, we found two needles in the toilet tank! Despite their location, they do not provide any shuttle to the airport. No breakfasts, not even coffee in the room. You have to get coffee at the lobby. We did not have a good stay. I would avoid this place if possible.

It's pretty much what you expect of a Motel 6. Our room wasn't fancy or anything, but it was clean and everything worked. The sink had a little trouble draining, but we didn't really care. What honestly bothered us was the fact that towards the last couple days of our stay, we kept finding yellow jackets in the room. A little investigation showed that the cracks around our door were so wide that were just crawling in to burrow away from the cold. My spouse is deathly allergic, so it was terrifying. We killed at least 10 of them. I couldn't find a nest nearby, so we didn't see much point to asking to switch rooms. Just a combination of season, location, and architecture all combining together in an unlucky way. But yeah. All manner of bugs can get through the door cracks, so beware. We also had night bugs, moths, and mosquitos. Best thing to do is shut your lights off at sunset. Otherwise, it was totally fine though. Staff was kind, friendly, and helpful, and I don't blame them at all for the building being old.

Update two years later: Went from a 4 star to 1 star rating. Got really icked out by the fact that all our things had been very obviously moved when housekeeping came by. I understand needing to potentially move things around for cleaning's sake, but soo many things got moved that I was feeling really paranoid. Nothing was missing, aside from the disposable dishes we were using being thrown out because I guess they assumed they knew what our trash is better than us. But even my laptop went from being open and on the desk with a mouse beside it, to closed with the mouse on top of it, and moved a solid half a foot to the side. Like I said, understandable if they need to move things to clean, and it seems like something done for cleaning. But anyone messing with my tech makes the hairs on my neck stand up. They'll also force you into a full cleaning and not just a room check, so just accept that you're going to get snooped on, I guess. I was already feeling paranoid because my mom always taught me to put as much away in suitcases as possible whenever you leave, but then I was regretting not just fully dragging all our belongings out of the room for the day.

Also, if you don't follow their rules exactly, they will just hit you with a permanent ban without a warning or even telling you they've done it. Asking for clarification also gets nothing, so I'm completely at a loss as to what caused this in the first place. I'm not sure if it was from something to do with the snooping or if I was supposed to let houskeeping in even more or something. I don't know. They didn't even warn us we were at risk of a ban.

Worst of all, they let us make a new reservation a month later without calling to tell us we'd been banned. So we wasted money on a Lyft getting there only to be turned away with no explanation. Thanks for wasting our money and time! Gotta love a company that demands more respect than they're...

I stayed at the Motel 6 SeaTac the July 21-24 weekend and am disgusted with their rooms, hotel and treatment of guests. ||- our rooms were double booked and when we checked in on Friday we were not able to check in until 7:15/7:30 for one room (room 170), and our second room was inhabited by another person who had also paid for that room? We were told a room may not even be available to us though we had paid for it and had booked it back in March of this year. |- we missed our evening plans/event due to this issue on Friday |- we weren’t able to check into our second room until 10:45pm when check-in should have been ready for both rooms by 3pm that day |- our guests in room 170 became sick from being in the room they were given. I had requested in the notes for a non smoking room even though on our booking I had no option between smoking and non smoking. In room 170 they had issues immediately with the room/bedding/towels being soaked in the smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke. The bedding was stained and had smoke burns/holes in it. The water in the tap came out YELLOW, and the shower was broken so they had to use our shower in 216/144. The window screen was broken (we fixed it) but was letting in flying bugs, as well when we tried to use the AC to move air around it gave us an F1 error and bugs flew out of that too. Being in the room gave the guests a contact high the smell of pot was so extreme. And the phone didn’t have a dial tone so we couldn’t call out or to the front desk. One of the guests is asthmatic and they couldn’t stay in the room the full trip. They left on July 23 and went home it was so awful. |- the group in my first room, 216 were good in 216 but I received a phone call at 2am on July 22 to let us know we could stay in 216 “for now”, and in the morning we were told we had to move because the door needed to be fixed? |- we moved into room 144 and though we were told it was non smoking it was also extreme smoke filled. The sheets had stains, the hand towel had a pubic hair and head hair that we had to rip out of the towel. The beds were horrible and the pillows left a rash on my husband. As well we too couldn’t dial out of our room or call the front desk. Many of the plugs in the room we couldn’t even use because they just didn’t work. ||It has been three months now and I have not heard from the Manager, Ravi, about our refund or complaints. Not ONE email or phone call. Each time there and since we left I tried to speak to Ravi or the assistant manager they “weren’t available” whether that was in person or by phone.||This was disgusting, unacceptable, inhabitable, and if we could have changed hotels we would have. You need an extreme overhaul of your rooms and your...

We are a small but needy family🧔‍♂️👩‍💼👦🐶🐕‍🦺🚬🤫

💲Look I stay here because it's cheap.💲 However you wouldn't know it if you consider the service. The lady who works swing shift was/ is AMAZING.👍😜 I mean my family comes with a lot. 2 🧔‍♂️👩‍💼adults, 2 dogs,🐶🐕‍🦺 a 3 yr 👦old. I need a smoking🚬 rm, I need a room in the back for the quiet, 🔇🤫I need a place away from other animals, ⛔🚫I havea boy who.likes to run so we need to be on the bottom. She accommodated and continues to accommodate me whatever the request she gets a platinum star from me 6 stars on a 1-5. I wish all my hotel stays were like that and they gave me the level of guest service and satisfaction as she does. The beds are admittedly well it's not easy to rate because some rooms have ama😍😡zingly comfy beds, some are broken and droop in the middle. But They will move you whatever the reason IF there is Availability for another RM like yours. I don't think I've ever been told no here, Xtra towels, blankets, late check out early check in. The parking lot is lit up like Xmas tree so you snd your car are safe Black out curtains block the light out very well. I slept today until .... I think almost 230 without even realizing what time it was. The housekeeping staff are always accommodating , little English but w/e. I once left something behind and came back hours later they hadnt cleaned the room however they did strip it and my item was in the bed, they allowed And helped me to go thru item by item the cart of linen from the 5 rooms around and including mine sheet by sheet until we found it. FREAKING amazing where u gonna find customer service like that??? And WHERE ELSE CAN YOU FIND A SMOKING ROOM ANYMORE❓❓⁉️ ...... EXACTLY..‼️🚭🚫 N O W H E R E ❗❗❗it's always no smoking which makes it worth any small little grievance I don't know if I have. But this I know, Motel.6 airport SeaTac, well worth the money you spend , the staff is friendly,.and willing to jump and fulfill your needs.at least she was. It's all around the best place if your on a Budget and your not trying to sleep with bed bugs or druggies leftovers. It's just not the Four seasons but it.is GREAT for a lot of reasons.. will be...
