if you're ordering any whole pizzas you're told to call in advance or wait. but this is impossible when the phone NEVER GETS ANSWERED, today was a breaking point for me. I called multiple times over 2 hours to place an order and each time I waited for the snarky little auto goodbye message. I place a big order regularly and hate showing up as and blindsiding the staff, but it seems like it's either that or driving to another store almost half an hour away. it really bums me out that this isn't as reliable as it used to be or even could be. not being able to turn around high volumes of pizza on a dime I understand, but answering the phone for a large order calling ahead 3-4 HOURS before pickup seems to be impossible. otherwise service tends to be good enough and the food is just like the food at every other Costco but the fact that I would have to call the manager's phone and have them walk to the food court to get them to pick...

Apparently, they are no longer calling out order numbers. On a non busy Tuesday afternoon(2pm), the wait was over half an hour, only to be told they would start the whole pizza I ordered 50+ minutes ago(I ordered it when I arrived, did my shopping and came back to grab it not knowing the system was now this chaotic mess), it would be ready in fifteen minutes. The last time I waited this long at the food court it was 5:00 on a Friday the day before the 4th of July.
Apparently this is the new system. Upon hearing it would be 15 or more minutes, I asked for a refund and was told I had to go somewhere else. That was still faster than waiting yet longer...

I arrived at check out to purchase and was told my annual membership fee was due .....which is odd since I recall the exact time I had renewed membership. I paid the large bill and walked confused to membership services. Where Oscar helped me put the pieces of the puzzle together. He helped connect me with Julie who was a sweetheart and so patient and kind. I was relieved to be refunded my double dues. Oscar even brought me a copy of my receipt and payment received.
