Absolutely delicious Thai street food. Well worth the journey to get here from the opposite side of downtown! The service at the register was friendly and informative. She made great recommendations with a helpful kind attitude. The food was delicious!!! My wife got a Strong order with the fried chicken panang curry 10/10! We shared the pak mor and boy those really are something special 12/10!! The owner/chef was explaining that it is a labor of love and he had to hire a single person whose job is to make these delicate delicious steamed rice wrapped dumplings all day! It's served with a beautiful sauce made from mint and cilantro with fish sauce and chili... A slight chew and tender wrapper is mouthwatering and unique An ABSOLUTE MUST TRY!!! We also shared the fried pork belly!! Yum!!! Crispy and flavorful tender on the inside and served with another wonderful sauce! I ordered the Ba Mee Hang Ba Teng this was my least favorite of the bunch, however I would happily eat this again and go back for this 9/10. (It's always amazing when you find a place that the least liked item you ordered is still worth eating!) DO NOT SLEEP on this Dessert mango sticky rice is amazing 11/10!!! The mango was sourced from LA and was better than what we have gotten all season in Florida!!!(Go figure...) It was vegan, creamy, sweet, warm and had little crispy sweet bits on top. The mango was perfect with everything you want in a mango and then some, floral not stringy at all, golden orange/yellow juicy flesh and sweet like tree candy! A beautiful surprise for a dessert made from rice! (For me it's usually chocolate or bust) Do I need to convince anyone else anymore ...JUST GO HERE, DON'T MISS IT. (Also chef, if you want to open a location in southeast Florida I will happily be a regular!!!)
A note on service, it is a self serve sort of place. You order and they bring you your food. However the water and cleanup is kinda your responsibility. A couple of people left their plates on the tables and made it a bit of a wait for a clean table to turn. They have everything laid out for dirty dishes in bus pans, silverware, food waste, garbage etc. Help out and clean up...
Read moreNew restaurant in the International District which serves noodle soups and pak mor, both of which you'd be unlikely to come across at a typical Thai restaurant in Seattle.
Food was delicious, service was great, and had an inviting atmosphere. Prices are also really reasonable for the portion and location. I'll be coming back for sure.
Su Kho Thai noodle soup - Served piping hot, and absolutely delicious. Tastes somewhat similar to tom yum, but a bit more mellow. So many toppings! BBQ pork, fish cakes, pork sausage, green beans, bean sprouts, cilantro, green onions... and the broth was perfectly seasoned. Also includes rice noodles - which I could have done with a little less of.
Kao mun gai - Similar to Hainanese chicken rice, but with a different (delicious) dipping sauce. Rice was cooked with chicken stock and herbs, and it came with a comforting bowl of broth on the side. My boyfriend loved it.
Pak mor youn - A really tasty rice noodle-wrapped dumpling filled with ground meat and herbs, and served with a tangy lime sauce and a sweet fish sauce. The rice noodle was so tender and soft to bit into, and I poured the sauces directly into the dumpling. So good!
I noticed they had a condiment bar with chili flakes, jalapenos and a spicy-looking sauce. By the time the food was ready, I had forgotten about it. I think the noodle soup and pak mor would really have benefited from added spicyness, but they were still very good without!
Notes - Food does not seem to be spicy by default. There's a bar at the side where you can self-serve spicy condiments. Order at counter, open seating Try...

E-Jay Pak Mor, where have you been all my life?! This tiny café may be small, but the flavors? ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE.
Let’s start with the Pak Mor Yuan—their signature dish. One bite and I swear I saw my ancestors nodding in approval. The delicate, silky rice crepes were packed with so much flavor, I had to pause and reevaluate my life choices. How have I lived this long without this dish?
Then came the Pad See Ew with pork, and I am not exaggerating when I say the noodles were so fresh and perfect, I literally gasped. Not in a cute way—like, full-on dramatic inhale. The people at the next table looked concerned.
And then… the fried pork belly marinated in fish sauce. I don’t even have words. Crispy, salty, melt-in-your-mouth goodness that made me question if I should ever eat anything else again. I wanted to write it a love letter.
Now, the place is small, and the lines can be long. I’ve been when it’s slammed, and I’ve been when I could waltz right in. The ambiance? Let’s just say nobody’s coming here for mood lighting—but who cares?! When the food is this good, you’re too busy having an out-of-body experience to notice anything else. Lol
Final thoughts: If you haven’t been to E-Jay Pak Mor yet, stop what you’re doing and GO. Your taste buds will thank you. Your diet? Not...
