I ordered a plain burrito with avocado, over the phone. It was my go-to place.

Due to a language barrier, I thought he said: "plain burrito plus avocado" So I said, yes.

I got what I ordered, plus meat so I was charged more. It wasn't until I left and took a bite I realized it.

I went back, told them it wasn't what I wanted and if he could just remake it. I didn't even care I paid more (because of the meat) because I love that place.

He got really defensive and started saying, "..it's not my fault...it's your fault...you said this is what you wanted"

I immediately reassured him I'm not even mad about it, can it just be remade.

He told me if I wanted it to be remade I'd have to pay for it again, because, "it's your fault, not mine. Now this cost me a burrito"

To which I replied, "I'm not mad or blaming you, however I paid more for what I didn't want, so can you just remake it and I don't need any money back."

He ended up refunding my money.

I literally have no idea how or why he got so jammed up, however at no point did I raise my voice.

He lost my business and any further...

An absolute must try for anyone who even vaguely enjoys mexican food. I get an adobada burrito with a diet coke every tuesday for lunch and it is a highlight of my week. The burrito is imo the best ive ever had, and i used to live in LA! The tortilla, the quality and ratio of the fillings, the delicious meat, it all comes together to create an experience that cheers me up for the rest of the day no matter how rough the morning was. The staff of course are polite and professional and the service is always quick, definitely deserving of a hefty tip. The sitting area is clean, comfortable, indoors, and with enough space that ive never had to wait for a table. Quality control is top notch, with every burrito coming out the same every time ive ordered. If there ever was a perfect food truck, this is it. I know im glazing them so hard it might sound like this is a fake review, but i promise that im a real person with high standards for my burritos at that, check my other google reviews if you dont believe me. Overall 5/5, if this place...

Decent Taco Truck, Could Improve A Bit

El Chapulin Oaxaqueno does one thing really well: adobada pork. It's perfectly seasoned, juicy, greasy, and goes perfectly with lime and cilantro.

I imagine this would be awesome in the burrito, but I've only had the tacos (which are a bit on the small side, given the price). It seems that the burrito is probably the best deal.

Carne asada was dry, as expected. I actually ordered pollo, but -- now you know not to bother with the steak.

Angel (the owner) was very friendly and had a group of returning customers waiting for their orders and going out of their way to greet him. They seem like extremely friendly people.

I'm a bit sad that they don't offer carnitas or fish, but the adobada pork delivered.

It's a bit spendy if you're used to White Center living, but for West Seattle, it's about average.

I still prefer Tacos Guaymas (bigger tacos, more options, a place to sit) and the usual good spots in White Center, but I'd be curious to try the breakfast...

A decent taco place here in West Seattle. Every time I drove by the aromas would entice me to try their stuff so this time I actually gave in. We ordered their torta (adobada), Quesa birria and Birria tacos. The Torta was the best of the lot and it was good. They could have added more meat but overall it was flavorful. The birria tacos and quesa birria lacked flavor by themselves. However, their salsas both red & green are bomb and can make any flavorless dish taste better. We drenched our meals in their salsas and were content with what we tried. Overall it is a good taco place but nothing mind blowing imo.

I'm pretty critical of my Mexican food as my mother was born in michoacan and I've grown up my entire life with truly authentic Mexican food. Living in Seattle (actual Seattle, not burien or Renton) it's tough finding true Mexican food, but these guys hit it right on the money. Really fair prices for Seattle, taste is always on point, service is quick and super friendly, and it's right behind my apartment building! Super glad they chose this spot and will definitely be making this a weekly stop! Also bring vegetarian they have OPTIONS!!

We've been fans of this truck since we moved into the neighborhood; their food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Even knowing this, they blew us away this weekend. They catered a party we hosted and fed about 40 people, all of whom raved about the food. The food was packaged thoughtfully, super fresh, and tasted awesome. They had great veg and gluten free options, so all of our guests got to enjoy a nice meal.
