I wasn't expecting too much viewing some of the photos, but I don't think they're an accurate representation. In regards to quantity, I was happy and the meal was filling. Quality was good too! Katsu is nice and crispy, very tender, and pairs well with sauce. All entrees come with miso and have vegetables included, whether on the side (i.e. katsu) or inside (i.e. bibimbap).

Chicken katsu seems to come with slightly more meat than the pork, but barely so not really a big deal. It's interesting that the pork is whiter meat and the chicken is darker though. You can taste the difference, however, so it was definitely a surprise. I personally loved the katsu but not sure about the others.

Four for above average, but nothing blew me out of the water. Tasty but not didn't melt in my mouth and that's what a five is reserved for. Wish there were more options for things like drinks or desserts,...

Should’ve known better… Korean food in Madison Park. The yukgaejang was a disappointment—no shredded brisket like it’s supposed to have, just thin slices of pre-frozen hot pot meat. The soondubu jjigae was equally underwhelming: no vegetables, just a few bits of pork and plain tofu floating in what basically tasted like salty water. The rice was good.

To make matters worse, no banchan was served with the meals—even though the prices absolutely suggested they should be. And the kimchi trio? Overly fermented and not good.

The server never came by to re-fill our waters or ask how the food was.

All in all, completely unacceptable and this is definitely not (even close) authentic...

If I could give this more stars, I would because everything in itself was beyond five stars. The service was impeccable, the server we ordered takeout with was kind and leisurely. He was very thoughtful with our order as we were taking it to the beach for a picnic. The tempura was perfect. Even after being boxed up for a few minutes, and the miso soup was full of flavor. I ordered a chicken dish that was full of flavor and very large portions and my friend had a tteokbokki that was the best version of it that I have ever tried. We will definitely be back here again, and I love to know that there is a great option for picnic lunches at...

I can't say enough wonderful things about Hanok. The Bibimbap is incredible!! Probably one of the best I've had, period. Everything on the menu is delicious, even down the the Simple Salad with Ginger Yuzu sauce 🤤 The owner is always a pleasure and we love being semi-regulars here. Have been a bit reluctant to post so this place doesn't get too popular (selfish I know), but I can't keep the secret any longer. Try it out, get the stone bowl Bibimbap with Bulgogi you won't be disappointed.

Somehow snagged a table last minute without a reservation (not recommended, it's a small place so def make a reservation). The food was simple, classic, and legit! Every bite made me so happy. The seafood jjampong udon was so delicious and comforting - the broth by itself was divine. The pancake app was great as well. Go split a few things to taste everything!
