I live in the neighborhood and have been going here for the past year, at first the food was really freaking good, but it seems like the quality and quantity have gone down over time. I always get the barria to go, and 100% of the time they forget to put the consomme in, huge bummer, huge massive bummer.. its like the best part imo. Another thing, I've always gotten the queso barria, and it used to be sooo freaking good, loaded to the brim with meat and cheese, one of the best barrias I've ever had. But today I got the same thing and it was mid as hell, the quesadillas weren't dipped in consume before frying (which in the past they were), so its just some white unseasoned flour tortillas, and they are thin as hell!!!! There was such little meat inside I thought I got someone else's order or something, I'm honestly flabbergasted. The portion size is way smaller bc of it, and with the bland tortillas, and no consomme, I almost don't want to go back. I'm pretty disappointed with how unreliable and inconsistent this place is, they already always forgot the consumme, which was fine cuz it was bussin already, but with how much worse the food has gotten... also the menus on their website doesn't make any sense, there are 2 different menus and they don't match. there are different items of both so it makes ordering online confusing. I really want this place to succeed, as small businesses are so important to our neighborhood, so I hope someone is able to read this and make some...

Beef fajitas were well seasoned, and generous portion. Also included a pile of grilled vegetables, which is not traditional, but was a pleasant surprise and really tasty. Queso dip had cheddar it, which gave extra flavor, although made it a little stringy. Bad things: The margarita was very artificial lime flavor, and oddly effervescent. Also, not that boozy. The salsa was loaded with black pepper that overwhelmed any other flavor, and it was not spicy. Beans and rice were bland. Tortillas were store bought/manufactured. Here in Seattle maybe people don’t expect handmade tortillas at a Mexican restaurant, but it’s standard where we come from, so disappointing. Overall, we got full, we had some good flavors, and we didn’t spend a lot, but we probably...
Read moreWe went today around 7:20pm to place and order to go, we were the only ones at the restaurant. We took some to decide what we wanted, it was our first time there and we didn't know the menu. During all this transaction the waiter taking our order had such a terrible attitude, like we were bothering. Once the order was placed and charge to our card we noticed it was incorrect, there was an extra plate. That could have been miscommunication, but the first thing he did was blame it on us, for this we got cashback because he couldn't cancel/refund the transaction. In the meantime we order a couple of margaritas. They had zero tequila. Once we got home and open the food, 2 carnitas tacos were actually chorizo. We paid $96 for 2 margs, 4 carne asada tacos, 2 carnitas and 1 quesabirria plate. As a Latina I appreciate having latine food in the neighborhood, but the bad costumer service and price just left...
