I am not Greek. Nikos Gyros is a smaller Greek style restaurant. I ate two of their lamb gyros, cubed meat not shaven, with the famous cucumber sauce that I have come to love over the years. They have a nice menu and drink selection and are really trying hard for the "Greek Style" look, taste and feel. I would eat their again, but I wouldn't eat the baklava for dessert like I did this trip. The baklava is not the best I have ever eaten and was a little to "clovey" for my taste buds, plus it was rather hard on the bottom. In fact, it was so hard that one of my coworkers chipped his tooth while biting down. So they lose a star for desserts. We went during lunch and they were pretty fast in serving, less than 10 minutes, and prices are reasonable for the area. My 2 Gyros, tea and baklava were just under $17 including tax without a tip. Thanks...

Was trying to grab lunch before I went to the dentist went off the bat they overcharged me five bucks. When I said something about it they denied it only to realize I was right. Then the food took over 20 minutes to be done, which then didn't give me enough time to eat before my dentist appointment. So I asked for it to go instead and I put it in my car, went to my appointment and when I got out, I asked for my money back as the food was cold and I no longer wanted it as it took so long to come to me. They ask me what I ordered and then just gave it to me again not offering me my money back. I was very anxious and didn't want to say anything in the first place, so after that reaction I felt like I had to just take it and go, but having gone to the dentist my mouth was bumb and I couldn't eat it before I...

N,ice looking side street cafe style with take out Saw wine on the menu, We came in for gyros Now they were not what expected

Back in Mpls MN, there was this middle eastern grunge cafe, wouldn't think much if observed from street side, but this was just the genuine grabs @ you gyro experience Meat shaved of the upright kabob spit while waiting, kerpow! Total yum

What we got here was a tasty looked to be pre made and formed kabob strips, thrown on a grill for a warm up which I'd not seen prior then made up into the gyro, twas very good really but not my exp version of an actual Gyro exp, again if we were to want a food order, have no problem stepping...

They have a deli shop and restaurant. We had a large (oval plate) and small (round plate) plate of gyro salad which are about $9 and $7 Maybe little small volume compared othe r restaurant. Taste is great, service is quick and nice. Their lunch time is busy about 12:30. Their deli shop is limited items but all are interesting and make me to try them. There are 3 big outdoor tables and a few tables indoor.

I tried the Specialty Plate with falafel. It's a large plate with a fresh and crispy greek salad with premium ingredients. A side of warm pita with a delicious tzatziki. The falafel on the other side is not great. It was dry and flavorless, and the hummus was very simple, almost watery. It's a little bit expensive, like every other restaurant in town.

We stop by after Farmer's Market and got a great meal here. The kababs (souvlaki) were delightful and came with rice covered with feta cheese. Each dish also came with a large salad that everyone at the table enjoyed. Staff was friendly and welcoming. This is a perfect place for a large gathering or family.
