Unfortunately, this location doesn’t use the standard pizza ovens anymore. They use more energy efficient “conveyor belt” type ovens and the pizza is cooked very differently. (Note: with Seattle hourly pay rates being what they are, they can significantly shrink their staffing levels with the conveyor belt ovens.) The pizza is not at all what we had come to love as “Pagliacci Pizza” but something else entirely. We stopped going to this location for pizza, which is too bad because it used to be our favorite, going there sometimes 2+ times per week.
Mar 2025 Update: One of our kids recently ordered a pizza from this location. They were disappointed to discover that the marinara sauce recipe had changed. It is much sweeter and not as good. We later confirmed that that is the case. Another knock against the “Lake Sh!tty“ location…
I do want to give them credit where credit is due. We think their salads are still very good and will happily order them from this location.
If you are craving Pagliacci’s pizza, we highly recommend the Sand Point location. For now, they still use the old style pizza ovens, which makes an excellent crust. And the staff there is great. I don’t know though if they are still using the old marina sauce recipe, but I assume that all the locations switched to the newer,...
Read moreUPDATE AT BOTTOM 10-15 Pagliacci has been our families spot for years!! We order from them so often that we actually get our pizza's free every now and again. Pretty cool. Our family favorites are: Cheese, Pepperoni, The Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Salami Primo, Pesto Primo, 12th Man Primo, Tomato Gorgonzola, Margherita and The Italiano. They also have Seasonals that get swapped out monthly, so there's always something to satisfy your taste buds. UPDATE 10-15-2024* So I go today and there's a sign that's been taped up saying that Pagliacci only takes card now and they don't have any cash in the store. I don't have a bank/debit card. I don't use banks, I don't trust them. I just know it's so crappy to decide on a whim that your business is going to change what forms of payment they take!! IT'S A FORM OF FINANCIAL DISCRIMINATION, especially against people that don't have a lot of money. Yeah, so no pizza for us, no type of alternative given...
Read moreTonight my Sister-in-law and I went into Pagliaccis ready to plunk down at least 30 bucks for a pizza or two but to my surprise I couldn't get the girl who was running the counter to acknowledge our presence. At one point she asks if anyone is there to pick up a pizza or order a slice, the whole time not looking in our direction at the counter, I then stated I'd like to order something but she continued to ignore us and never once looked in our direction. I'm not sure if her poor customer service skills was due to poor training or what, but as a person who has worked in customer many years when I was in school I can tell you a little bit of acknowledgement goes a long way. My friend had her heart set on one of your Pizzas but we went to another place a couple blocks away... I found a better place to go...Thanks to the rotten service at...
