Great location. Tiny parking lot. Easy in & out on this crazy very fast main road lake city way. Colorful little building. Nice heritage decorations.

Once you walk in you realize this place is stuffed , and packed.

There is evidence of hoarding every where you look, and if you take a deeper look , you will realize Hygiene here is at their lowest & least priority

Restroom is ok, but also stuffed, and packed with other thing, and more hoarding of stuff in restroom.

In this place , you will feel crowded( Displays, coolers, shelves, food items, equipments, extra inventory, Decorations) almost clusterphopic, even if you are the only customer in here.

Hygiene behind counter , and in cooking area, and displays is highly questionable.

Customer service is at the very minimum. Do not expect good customer service especially from the female server who wares black robe with a white scarf. Or other clothing but still wares the white scarf.

She is unfriendly, unwelcoming, has no manners, will give the impression that she is resentful because a customer came in , who is going to make her do some work.

I would almost say she is very rude, But not quite.

Food has alot of flavor, But yucky flavor ,large portion, but Over priced by at least 30%.

And if you are looking for good presentation of food , you are not going to find it here

The lamb kebob does not taste like lamb kebob. It is boiled lamb meat , cut into pieces and called lamb kebob.

The kabob supposed to be grilled not boiled. So if meat get boiled then it becomes part of a stew. Plus you could taste that it was boiled in pressure cooker. It does not have that deep flavor. Plus it had lost that natural oil flavor . It is just tender meat fiber pieces,But I guess that's the way they are marketing their kebob. Not real kebob.

Exactly similar to a steak . Steaks are not boiled in high pressure cooker , then put on the grill. No . Or it will be called something else.

To them it is Whatever as long it sells, and it is tender and has flavor but not a good flavor.

Just like the saying: if it doesn't look like a duck, doesn't sound like a duck, doesn't walk like a duck; then it is not a duck.

Same here : if it doesn't look like kebob, doesn't smell like kebob, and doesn't taste like kebob, then it is not kebob. Whom they are fooling?

But it is too late. By the time you realized all this, you already paid. And already eating this whatever yucky flavor food.

But if you really want to try the real lamb kebob, then please try it at Garlic Crush in Issaquah location only. You will see & taste the difference in meat flavor & the quality

The food is served here in a big pile. All different food is piled on top of each other.

It looks like a big, huge mess, sloppy, no separation of different food,or different sauces. No class.

Looks like food you serve when volunteering at homeless shelters or missions. Not food you paid almost $25.00 for.

No Etiquette. Even when you eat the food, all the flavor is mixed , and lost in this big giant mess, and sloppiness.

The food presentation is so embarrassing that it does not look good enough to take to a gathering.

They have been there for a long time, they should be better at what they do. But no . It is the opposite.

They should know what customers like, and what customers prefer, and what style is popular, while maintaining, and respecting the integrity and the authenticity, and the heritage of the dish they are serving.

But looks like the messy style , plus whatever made up & cooked up food that is given a real good name coupled with rudness , and no class is served here

Diffinetly I would not recommend this place for a really good upper class middle...

Stopped here for Father's Day lunch, and very happy that I did. The restaurant itself is cool and makes you feel like you've stepped out of Seattle and into the Middle East or Mediterranean. The staff provided fast and super friendly service.

I ordered the lamb shawarma sandwich and Greek fries. The fries hit the spot but what stood out was the lamb. Lamb can be hit or miss in my experience, but this was some of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Tender, flavorful meat, fresh vegetables, fried potatoes, delicious sauce, and the bread held everything together to the last bite. The meal was more than enough for one person, I almost couldn't finish it but it was tasty enough that I had to.

Also they sell Vimto soda, which is bomb as fucc and kinda hard to come by... If you've never had it give it a try, it's like a middle eastern Coca Cola.

Overall great experience and I will definitely be returning...

HOLY MOLY!

Amazing customer service again! That's a roll!

I had the lamb shawarma plate and my wife had the lamb gyro.

Off the hook with these dishes! Talk about a stuffed gyro...I was looking for the net that held this bad boy together! Must have fallen off when the flavor punched through.

The lamb shawarma plate...it's like the gyro exploded into perfectly separated portions and they had to use a plate.

I love what they did to the layout of the joint. There's some stools along a countertop, then a common area with benches along the walls where everyone can sit and have one huge conversation about how awesome our Seahawks are!

I'm guessing the 3 guys are relatives or just really close friends who have fun here...cause they were fun with us too.

So if you need a bite to eat before waiting in traffic through Lake City Way...go here. It'll help kill time to let the...

Zaina is the absolute definition of a hole-in-the-wall; appearing as a destination you would avoid going to at night; but as one of the few late night options around, it's definitely worth visiting. With a small menu of gyros, shawarma, and their associated plates, they recall the notion of simple, authentic street food. Trying out the lamb shawarma, I found the meat well marinated and tender, the vegetables fresh and crisp, and the hummus thick and creamy. The large portion size is sure to lull you to sleep after a long day or eventful night.

Zaina’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. That’s the Chicken Gyros plate (pictured below) and it is absolutely delicious. It’s always a substantial amount of food for a great price and best of all, the family that owns that spot are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. So many things on the menu are great—including the Gyros (Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Falafel), Plates, Salads, and Desserts (Baklava!). I always look forward to returning to Zaina’s—they make you feel right at home.
