My friend who lives in the neighborhood says this is her favorite Thai place and it did not disappoint! We had 11 people for lunch on Saturday. She made a reservation but the place was basically empty. They did a really cute reserved set up for us! They made it a square instead of a long table, which was awesome because we could all have one conversation.
We got the special fried veggie rolls (5 pieces per order) for an appetizer. Tasty, nice plum sauce. We got the enoki mushroom appetizer and it was SO GOOD. I don’t like mushrooms and I loved this dish. The mushrooms are battered and fried and served with a small bowl of curry with tofu, onions, tomatoes. We ripped off pieces of the mushroom and then spooned the curry over it. Beyond delicious. I will always get this when I come here. We all remarked on how good the sauce was—so flavorful and unique and delicious! This app default comes with pork, but we got it with tofu and therefore vegan/vegetarian.
I’m vegan, and the menu marks items as vegetarian and the servers are very knowledgeable about ingredients and can make dishes “vegan style” or “vegetarian style.”
They made my Thai iced tea with coconut milk and it was SO good.
Items we got vegan - pad kee mao with tofu and no egg (this one was unlike other pad kee maos I’ve had but still good, probably my least favorite dish though), sautéed green beans, and eggplant with tofu. Eggplant was my favorite, I love how soft and delicious it is.
Other folks loved the pineapple curry fried rice (vegetarian) and crab fried rice.
The people who work here are so kind and accommodating! One of our friends toppled their water bottle and the lid fell on the floor, and the server offered to wash it for him.
We had two carafes of water on the table and they were basically refilled without us having to ask.
All the food came out hot and fresh, it was great to do it family style but some people got their own too.
The restaurant is spacious and they have videos playing on the tvs from the perspective of a person just walking through Thailand (or at least I assume that’s what it was).

Read moreThis was our second time at this restaurant. The first visit months ago was great — we came based on reviews and were happy. But this recent experience was disappointing. My husband’s Shrimp Pad Thai was overly chewy — he usually finishes Pad Thai, but barely ate half. I tried it too and agree — it was the worst he’s had in years. I ordered the Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork instead of my usual dish, and it was inedible. The pork was so tough I could barely chew it, and I ended up with bad heartburn — which I rarely get. The only decent part was the rice. We also had the Crab wontons, which were over-fried with barely any filling — just crunchy dough. When we mentioned it to the server, she dismissed it, saying “That’s how they’re supposed to be.” She also didn’t offer to adjust the bill or show any concern. We mentioned the Pad Thai too, and were told the chef will be “more careful next time” — but that doesn’t help us now. On top of that, the Thai iced tea came overly sweet despite requesting 50% sugar, and no one asked about spice levels when ordering. It feels like the restaurant is relying too much on its reputation and no longer delivers the quality or care. Sadly, we won’t...
