Senor Villa Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Seattle

I was craving authentic Mexican food today. Did a Google search and all's that popped up was the normal chains of Mexican food. So I did a mom and pop Mexican food search and a ton of stuff popped up. So I went thru and read the reviews. Senor villa popped up and the reviews were good. So I said I will try this place out.

The server was spectacular. He was very thorough on what I was looking for to eat. He mention other things and I'm a burrito guy. And we had a great conversation about the food the cocktails they have and serve.

Needless to say the food was great. The red sauce on my burrito was thick and not runny. The chicken was cooked perfect. And of course I had to have a drink with it as well.

The owner is the cook. So kudos 👏 to him for cooking some bomb food.. I will be back and I will tell others about this tiny spot on lake city way. And there is plenty of parking in the back. So not really an issue to find a parking spot.

Had my husband pick up the order. He gave them the name and they still don’t know what the order was . He had to tell them what the order had. Wasn’t ready even tho I asked for 630 pick up and I ordered one hour prior. Anyway the food was not ok we found a blue hair or string or something in the rice . Then the tortillas were all stuck together and broken ! The steak was not carne Asada or skirt steak like it says it is. We payed 80 plus and it’s very disappointing because we don’t eat out much so I guess I won’t be trying any other food from here or I wouldn’t recommend. I feel bad for not cooking for my family today. The kids did like the chicken taquitos tho but not enough for me to come back. Called the restaurant to informed them about this. Dint get offered a refund but that’s ok ! Good to know not to waste our...

Don't eat here unless you want food originally cooked the day before. Rice was crunchy, beans tasted like they had been cooked then heated again, carne asada (type of beef) was rubbery and dry. The "kid's menu" consisted of 5 lines as part of the adult menu.

The waitress was nice and had a great accent, however when it came to the food it was lackluster at best. I have no idea why people are rating this higher than a 2. Oh wait, I do, it's because they haven't eaten authentic mexican food.

This place doesn't deserve to be titled a mexican restaurant, it should be titled "American imitations of mexican food". I mean come on! The damn cook was white!
