Patrons And Staff Walked all over me like i wasn't there. The guy at the register told me to step aside so he could serve a "white couple" first. The couple didn't say excuse me,didn't even acknowledge my presence. Like it was the thing to do. I'm a Black American Veteran. I guess my money isn't good enough. I served and was in central america in the '80's. I shook my head, looked at the staff members. One lady rolled her eyes at me when she noticed i had on my lid(Go Army) cap. That's when i got pissed. I took myself out side. And vented there. I reconsidered that perhaps it was me. I called back to apologize. He said he was busy and hung up. So at this point i realize that. I'm just not going to be appreciated by some who aren't even from this country and even less by the elitist people that call themselves American. That's Ok. But when they Disrespected me and tried to act like it was my fault .... I also realized something else. I am an American Veteran and i will defend the rights of the less fortunate against All enemies...foreign & Domestic. Jessie!...
Read moreI've eaten here before when I'm hungry and have a craving. I got two slices yesterday around 3:30 pm: Canadian Bacon/Pineapple, and BBQ chicken w/ broccoli. I really liked the slices. Problem was - at about 9:30 pm that night I had terrible cramps and then absolutely horrible food poisoning. It thankfully passed in under an hour, but during that time my body was in waves of excruciating pain. I can't say for 100% sure if the pizza was the culprit, but that's my guess. When I got there at 3:30 pm, several pizzas were sitting out under the heat lamp. The owner had covered them with pizza pans, and he returned the covers as soon as I had chosen the ones I wanted. Also, he did put the slices in the oven for about 2 minutes or longer before serving. I like this place and the food is good, but if you are there I suggest mentioning that someone posted a review about food poisoning, and ask him if he is aware of the proper temperatures. It was probably the chicken on the pizza that went bad....
Read moreI mean, it does the job. It filled my stomach. It’s marginally better than frozen pizza. Doubt they make the dough on premise. This isn’t pizza as art; it’s pizza as basic sustenance.
Paid $28 for four slices and a Coke. I know for a fact the guy overcharged me, and he defended it by saying prices are really high due to COVID. No itemized receipt so you can’t see what the prices are. Whatever man, I’m not there to cause a scene over $5 for an order I already placed, but the owner should be ashamed for charging people different prices than what’s on the menu. I should not have let myself get scammed, but I was with my friend and just wanted to enjoy the day.
Due to horrible business practices and mediocre pizza, it’s safe to assume I’ll never be back. It’s kinda funny reading all the one-star reviews. They...
