I think this tour would of been a 3 star if not for our guided. Not sure if it was an off night for him but he came across as erragant and rude. He talked to fast you could not keep up with the stories. Before we even left one of the other guest asked him to speak up and he told her "why don't you just step closer" I think his intent was to be funny but it was not. When they say walking tour they mean it.. be prepared for a ton steep stairs of stairs and large hills. I understand that's its a walking tour but they really need to specify the activity level in the tour description because if you are not from seattle you would have no idea how steep thr stairs and hills can be. Several people could not even finish the tour and had to get a Uber back the their cars

Was a great walking tour with a ton of historical information. Our tour guide was entertaining and very knowledgeable about the history of Seattle and the first neighborhood in Seattle Pioneer Square. He also puts the safety of the people on the tour as his number one priority. If you get a chance to do this tour I would!

We had the pleasure of being led by Aten, a charismatic and quirky individual with incredibly detailed knowledge of the locations around Pioneer Square we visited. Aten combined his personal encounters with historical facts to create a truly unique experience. Would definitely do this tour again and recommend to others!

I went on this tour October of last year and was very disappointed. I was recommended to take a tour vs exploring on our own due to safety reasons due to increase in crime, but guide does not show inside most of the areas just stands there and speaks about them, defeating the purpose of why we took the tour. He also spent a lot of time implying he was medium. We were interested in seeing the underground again! Not hearing ghost stories in the cold. I like spooky stories but atten speaks about himself way too much. He also seemed annoyed when my daughter asked a question.

Other tour in Seattle shows you around more vs atten that just stands and talks( guide carried taser for protection and you’re in safety of a large group) so it was a lot more worth it.

Reply - I actually said nothing about being too cold. I implied your tour is not worth walking in the cold for. And you obviously do not remember me because I wore a large jacket and knit hat so was very prepared for the weather. It’s amazing you lie and claim I wasn’t dressed properly so that’s why I just have not liked your tour, vs accept the criticism of your guide skills. That is how you grow, listening to criticism rather than jump to make...

On our short trip Seattle, my husband and I decided a history tour is exactly what we needed to get much better acquainted with the city. I found Haunted History tours of Seattle and read all the amazing reviews and thought - how fun would that be? We got together with our group and met our tour guide, Aten. During the tour, Aten showed our group tons of local places with interesting stories. His experience in the paranormal and passion for history added to his charismatic and informative delivery. We are so glad we were able to take this tour and experience so much of the haunted history Seattle has to offer. We are considering traveling back again next year and this tour is at the top of our list of must-do activities while in Seattle. If you like history, the paranormal, an awesome charismatic tour guide, and guacamole (take the tour, you'll know exactly what I mean) - YOU CANT MISS HAUNTED...
