Overall Rating - 6.17 🍜Food - 7/10 The udon was spectacular, it has sort of a classic alfredo sauce on it, very delicious. Warning though, it is so hot and it stays hot. The chicken bites were good but a little disappointing, they were cut into odd sizes that weren’t very “bite” sized they also were not cooked or coated in the sauce, it had just been drizzled on top. Although it was served on a large amount of sweet potato fries that were very delicious. They were served with fried rice cakes that were delicious though, they should serve those as a side. The side order of sweet potato fries were very generous along with the side of ranch. The bulgogi tteokbokki was very disappointing, it lacked bulgogi flavor and was filled with liquid at the bottom. It wasn’t broth, it was just liquid that hadn’t been cooked off. We also ordered it with cheese and it was very minimal. It was tasty but not bulgogi or cheesy. 👩🦼➡️Accessibility - 7/10 pretty wheelchair accessible, there place is all flat. There is not an automatic door. The lighting is dim. 🧑🍳Service - 6/10 the service was a bit odd, but I had overheard the waiter saying he was just covering for the bartender and that he doesn’t usually do this. When we got to the bar it was completely empty and still the waiter crouched right in front of us like it was a crowded restaurant but it was completely empty and quiet. When we asked about drink he didn’t really seem to know what was there or offer substitutions to what was not available, which after learning he isn’t a bartender made sense but was still frustrating. He did bring out two complimentary wings for us which was very kind. He was overall quite nice but just a bit awkward with customer service. 🍽️Ambiance - 4/10 The ambiance was quite awkward, there was no else there and it was dead silent. There were tvs but no sound on and no music. Very awkward! It most likely isn’t like this on a Friday or Saturday evening but I hope they are able to increase service for other days of the week because I would love to come by on a week day and not be in complete silence. 🚗Parking - 5/10 Because it is downtown there is really very limited parking and the only parking nearby is $40. 💵Price - 8/10 It was actually some of the most fairly priced food I have had in Seattle recently considering the...
Read moreI think the place is newer and still learning so I hope this comes off as positive feedback.
The wings were my favorite, kbbq and kbbq spicy.
We also had the half and half golden chicken, Chichiron,Buldak.
7/10 chicken overall
My least favorite was the Buldak, it was like corn cheese on top of spicy teriyaki chicken with Buldak ramen. The corn cheese was the best part of the dish and if you order it you should mix everything well together for balance
In my opinion The menu was confusing, a lot of wasted space in the center for kids menu and the address and letting you know it’s a food menu. I would do drinks on a separate eliminate the center of those menus and leave more space for dish descriptions. I would set the menu as the type of meat and wing then sauces. That would be less confusing.
Food was great. Staff was great.
Ambiance I feel like this place is still trying to find an identity. There was soccer on the alley side at low volume and front was empty and had a lunch take out feel to it.
When I got home I saw they had more sauces on the menu and also some other dishes I would like to try. The menu does not flow well or explain how dishes are served.
Also the “golden crispy special” “ what better and dry batter to create a thicker batter” maybe just say it’s a double batter? It made me think I could order wet or dry batter.
Overall I would come back. I hope this place can make some adjustments and figure it out. I think they have a lot of potential if they can work out the kinks. I think it could be a good event or...
Read moreOk Seattle, let's get something straight - it's hit or miss when it comes to food. It's so much harder to find good food or even trust reviews. But this place, this place is legit.
The owner Shawn - he from Houston. Which means he knows food. And it shows. We ordered the naked wings, the soy garlic wings, the dark meat (thigh and drums), and the tenders. You can't go wrong but the highlight are the wings. Crispy while juicy, with just a kick of heat. You can order additional sauce on the side but it was unnecessary. The chicken is marinated and well seasoned that you don't need the additional sauce. But it comes out fresh, crispy, and juicy.
The ambiance is chill, a good place to catch the game and hang out. Clean bathroom. Didn't really check out the bar but probably great because the service we got from Shawn and the others were awesome. Plus, open until 2AM which doesn't happen in Seattle.
One caveat - this is in middle of Pioneer Square. Even while we were there, couple of drunk people wandered in and caused a little bit of a scene, which I thought the restaurant staff handled very properly. I think that's a positive for...
