Giuseppe's Pizzeria & Italian Cuisine — Restaurant in Sebastian

I've grown up on giuseppes pizza (20+ years) My past review was positive but unfortunately the restaurant has gone a bit downhill over the years. Quality of food diminished while prices rose. Staff is unfriendly/unprofessional. Original staff is still friendly good people. I will change my review when things improve. 2024

Awful! That's how I can wrap it up in one word. Absolutely Disappointed with the food quality and service. I come to Sebastian about every weekend and this is one of the worst Italian places I have tried in my life. I am glad to say it is my first and last time ordering from them. The chicken parmigiana tasted like it was cooked in old grease, our caesar salad dressing tasted like i drank from the Nile ( super salty). My fries came burnt and soggy, which is odd, considering we are only 3 minutes by car. I ordered fish fingers with the fries and when I opened the box it was 1 whole filet. Oh and the Marinara was very bland, I should have just asked them to hold the marinara and opened a jar of "Prego" marinara from the pantry. So I usually do not like to complain unless I feel it's utterly necessary, and in this case it was. Nothing we ordered was enjoyable. So I called and spoke to the manager and he was rude, had an attitude, and made an excuse for everything that I had told him. I can tell he was taking everything I said with a grain of salt and didn't care of maybe what could be some "good constructive criticism" for their next victim. Oh and the best part , he told me that's "how the fish fingers come" and I am suppose to pull apart my filet and that's how they become fish fingers. lol.. I have never heard of such a thing, but okay. So if you have a weak palette and like super generic bland food, then I encourage you to go here. Otherwise stay away from this disgusting establishment. Placed order over phone. Person who answered phone argued with me over last order, which was 2 10" pizzas with various toppings. I moved on and ordered 1 10" pizza with sausage and pepperoni and 1 10" pizza, with onion, sausage, pepperoni, green pepper and mushroom. I was asked if I wanted fresh or canned mushrooms, what? First time I was ever asked this. I also ordered small antipasto, which was ok. Moved on and went to pick up order. My mistake, I did not check it at the counter and sure enough order was wrong. Missing items on 1 10" pizza was pepperoni and sausage got cheese only. 2nd pizza missing green pepper. I called back to speak to manager and got same guy who took the order. He stated he was the manager. He said he would replace both but they could not have pieces missing must be intact. We had already eaten 2 pieces as we were hungry. Well then it can't be replaced. Fine. First, someone should have checked this order before it went out(managers job?). Second he could have credited a portion of the money paid for next order. Did not. Third, he could of have delivered a free dessert to make up for error. He did not. As I was waiting for the order one of the staff brought in a lizard from outside which jumped on the counter and ran around before she caught it again. Counter was not wiped off. Health issue?
