Starbucks — Restaurant in Sebastopol

This morning at 8:30am, I ordered a grande iced brownsugar oatmilk shaken espresso with light ice. And a piece of pumpkin bread. They asked if I would like the pumpkin bread warmed up and I said "No thank you." I received my drink & it had the full amount of ice they would put into a grande iced coffee.(if not, more!) I tasted it and it literally tasted like a plain iced coffee. No flavoring. No sweetness just plain iced coffee. Not shaken. Nothing. I then received my pumpkin bread and it was warmed up, after they had asked if I wanted it warmed up and I had said no. Ah, Starbucks that used to welcome people with a smile free water if you need it and wifi. Now? Not so much. It's refreshing to see a company roll back basic kindness in the name of what, Exactly? Profit? Politics? Just keeping up with the times? I used to think community meant something here-that a warm space, a drink of water and a few minutes of using wifi weren't too much to ask. But I guess compassion went out of style around the same time empathy became bad for business which occurred right around the time when Trump was elected president. Good job Starbucks where the drinks are overpriced and humanity...
