The Nectary — Restaurant in Sebastopol

I live in Marin County where we have an Urban Remedy...however I lived in Sonoma County for years and adore the Sebastopol area. I read about the Nectary online and made the trip out to see what they were all about. I ended up pre ordering the 3 day juice cleanse and while I was there I decided to try four different items (lavender vanilla kiefer, watermelon blissness, a juice with turmeric and lime, and some strawberry drink (kiefer or smoothie? ? Don't matter , don't care...it was the most delicious "thing" I've ever drank when it comes to healthy juices and smoothies! ) I also purchased two "hot shots" lemon /cayenne I believe... this place is hands down worth the drive (just bring an ice cooler!) And anyone complaining of the price, are you not worth it? I know I am. I work hard for my money and I will pay for quality, and this place consciously puts love and lots of thoughtful craft into their products. The juice for the cleanse were AMAZINGLY fresh and delicious (I chose the Hardcore) the electrolyte drinks were as well, the lavender vanilla kiefer was refreshing and they included your choice of nut mylk (all fresh and delicious, the cashew was my favorite) probiotic "shots" included with the cleanses....well worth the money. Horrible customer service. Young lady working the counter and I was in before any other customer. She made my smoothie and I wanted a product from the shelf that she needed to check on in the back. By the time I was ready to check out there were 5-6 other customers in the place and she refused to look for my product until AFTER she made their smoothies. I said that I’m a paying customer and would like to finish my transaction. She said well I’m not going to finish with you until I make they’re smoothies. I was baffled by her response. And said that I was here before anyone and would like to complete my transaction. She got SUPER rude and short with me and called ME rude and said she doesn’t have to serve me if she doesn’t want to. I’m done with this place. Their smoothies are hit or miss because there’s no quality control. They’re incredibly slow, and the customer service is hands...

This place is seriously one of my favorite places now. They are extremely customer oriented and compassionate about their products and their business. If you can believe it, in this picture is only HALF of a smoothie bowl! Me and my fiancee shared one! It was bigger than the size of my hand and there is so much smoothie under all of that topping, I swear. I thought they were going to be small but seriously we could hardly finish one. These are more than well worth the price for them. You get SO much in one bowl its insane, not to mention super healthy.

If you're looking for something to you power you through the day and give you that does of serotonin you need.. then this is your place.
