We stopped in for the first time after the Rotary Chili Cookoff. The display cabinet was still well stocked with a variety of sweet treats and the staff (the actual owner) was very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and just nice to us (after what I do imagine to have been a very busy and long day).
We moved to Florida from Michigan where we were used to getting our sweet tooth cravings satisfied with a visit to the Sugar Shack Shoppe or Bake 'n Cakes (where butter makes it better!) in Lansing/East Lansing.
We opted to get a 6 pack deal and got: guava cheesecake bar chocolate Oreo brownie cookies n cream cupcake pistachio cupcake banana pudding, and s'mores ball (because I forget what they actually called it - it was Golden Grahams mixed with chocolate and melted marshmallows like a rice krispie treat)
Although I was craving peanut butter and chocolate as well as maple and bacon (nothing available in those varieties), Sugar Blossoms' available offerings we selected satisfied our sweet fix.
Food for thought, maybe add cold drinks to the menu (bottles of water and can/bottle soda) and a staple with chocolate and peanut butter (like scotcharoos or a peanut butter cupcake with...
Read moreYou know in your favorite cozy TV show there’s the one place everyone goes to feel especially welcome and loved? This is our place in Sebring. I’ve been coming in since they opened and I can honestly say they are a five star establishment. Yes, their treats are creative and delicious. Yes, their customer service is unparalleled. But it’s more than that.
It’s that they made my son’s first birthday cake.
It’s because they made sure to set aside a croissant for my son every Saturday for a year, because his grandparents took him there every week. They even nicknamed him “Croissant Baby” and to this day remember him.
It was them telling me I was beautiful while I was 9 months pregnant and barely able to move.
It was their care and creativity when we had a big event and I said “uh orange cake times three?” And they delivered me the most incredible finished product.
It’s that they make mini-free cupcakes for the downtown Halloween event.
It’s a million little moments of genuine love and fun, wrapped around treats that will blow your mind via tastebuds.

Read moreAbsolutely love everything I’ve tried here. Huge portions, always delicious, great service and something for everyone. I noticed some mentioned in their reviews that the prices are high BUT for the quality and size of the treats, it’s absolutely worth it! We always end up splitting each treat between 2 of us because they are so big! You can’t compare prices to Publix or Walmart. If you’re going to compare, compare it against other local bakers and you will see that their prices are the same. You’re paying for high quality/ fresh treats. Not something that’s been mass produced in a factory and thawed. Either way, I always go in with the intent of getting 1-2 treats and walk out with 6-8 every time. Too hard to choose so we get it all. And have never been...
