Downtown Sebring was pretty much dead on an early Saturday evening except for the soda shop and a brewery. That was why it was such a delight to find this adorable coffee shop open on North Ridge, a side street off the circle.

The Sweetwater Coffee Company is owned by Tonya Kahn and Stephanie Nelson who also own Organically Local across the street. Sweetwater came about from customer requests for coffee in Organically Local but they didn't have the room so they decided to open a nearby coffee shop to satisfy their customers need for caffeine and a place to socialize. Sweetwater offers premium roasted custom coffee in iced and hot regular, latte, macchiato, cappuccino, chai tea and Americano along with matcha, Thai, milk, taro, and boba teas and freshly baked pastries. They also serve hot tea, chocolate milk, orange juice. bottled water, almond milk and oat milk .I decided on a medium iced chai tea and it was delicious and only $4! It would never be that inexpensive in Broward.

The coffee shop was sweetly decorated for Halloween. Along with table and chairs there was a couch in a lounge area with board games. With most of the downtown closed on an early Friday this was a real gathering place for the community. Sometimes they host events like a coffee...

This was my first time visiting and I had an excellent experience. The employee was very helpful and kind. I am not sure what her name was but for reference this was on Oct. 07, 2024 around 1:30-2 pm. The coffee is wonderful. It was very fresh and flavorful. The prices are reasonable and the ambience is very welcoming. I would highly recommend visiting this place! EDIT: I still come here consistently and am always leaving with a good experience. Often I am served by a guy who is friendly and a very efficient employee. All the baristas are amazing though. This company also offers a wide variety of choices which are great for those with allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions. These include sugar free options and non-dairy substitutions. The tapioca boba pearls are honestly the best addition...

When people think of a local coffee shop, they might imagine an overpriced little hole in the wall with mediocre drinks and an uninviting atmosphere. Or maybe they think of a Starbucks or other big-name chain where every location looks exactly the same and the employees don't know your name.

That's not Sweetwater Coffee Company.

Sweetwater is a place where you can get lattes, teas, espresso, iced or hot coffee—and LOTS of flavors. It's family-friendly, it's a great place to meet with clients, it has a relaxing atmosphere, and it's an amazing small business! The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming.

Sweetwater has quickly become my favorite coffee shop. They have amazing freshly baked pastries, excellent service, and just have such a great vibe! It is definitely...

I stumbled into this coffee shop, it reminded of the coffee shop from the sitcom Friends, the setup is pretty laid back and chill. I am not a coffee drinker I stopped to get some water and decided to give it a try the young lady came to life. It was beautiful to see how passionate she was for the various mixes and combinations of coffee! If you like creating and experimenting with coffee flavors and options this is the place to go. I would visit again to get that vegan chocolate cake, it was the best I’ve ever had no weird after taste, so delicious!!!!!!! I would be honest and say the price is a bit higher than average for the coffee but I think it’s the cup is large but way more than I needed. I would recommend you stop in and give a try.

The boba tea that I got had zero sugar. I got the taro and it literally taste like almond. Which is fine. It should have been called almond boba tea again that would have been fine but it had no sugar at all. I had high hopes because I don’t won’t to drive to Tampa or Orlando for some boba. I’m strongly considering driving the two hours to get some decent plant-based boba tea. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Hopefully they improve on their boba.
