Wish they offered refillable sodas like most establishments. The Tom Yom Kai Soup is Spicy, savory and great for those who enjoy Northern Style Thai food which tends to be spicy and less sweet. The cilantros, red peppers, chicken, onions, celery and mushrooms with the broth mix beautifully. No flavors over power the other. The rich taste of The Noodle Soup makes your soul feel warm and at home. Rice noodles, bean sprouts and beef. The appetizers the Dumplings and Thai rolls are to Die For!!! The Thai coffee taste like Caffe con Leche. Price is reasonable and compared to many Thai places this is as close as authentic as can be. Service is great they kept my water cup full and cleared out the table as soon as a placed everything on the side. Desert: I got both, fried ice cream and some banana type desert. Very good!!!

We’ve lived in Avon Park several years & never tried this local restaurant. It’s in the Fairmont plaza in Avon Park. The outside is not very inviting but I was hoping it was better inside. It looks old & quirky but not in a charming way. The service was slow & not friendly. I ordered cashew chicken which has always been a favorite dish of mine, but this was nothing like I had at similar restaurants. The chicken was tiny bits of boiled looking chicken & the sauce was not fresh smelling. The veggies were ok & the cashews were the best thing about the dish. My husband had the pork with veggies & rice. He was very disappointed too. He said the meat was thin like deli meat. We won’t be back.

This place is the best of both worlds. You get delicious Thai food at American large portions. The price is the same as any other Thai restaurant, I honestly do not understand how they are able to stay in business using that many fresh vegetables. IT WAS FRESH! It was so good a revisited a day later. Drove a extra hour. The reason I did not go the next day was it was so much food we ate it for breakfast the next day. If you like hot food get the Thai super hot, the locals must not like hot food. So what ever level you like bump it up one or ask for the hot dust. VERY GOOD. I would and did drive out of my way to eat there.was crowded so go at opening.

I have visited this restaurant many times over the past years and have always raved about both the food and the service! So much so we attempted to take two couples with us last week forgetting that the proprietor goes home for Christmas and closes till mid January. So this week knowing that the restaurant was open we returned, stood outside the door at 4:40 and were first in line at 5:00 when it opened! We were first seated and because we were with first timers were not the first to be visited by the single waitress; perhaps third or forth. Concern began when we observed others receiving appetizers before our drinks arrived but this compounded when meals and then take out orders started flowing. We finally received our drinks after 50 minutes but then waited as a continually stream of food (primarily it seemed to be take out) flowed from the kitchen. Others who followed us into the restaurant finished their meals and left before our appetizers arrived (one completely missing) at the one hour mark after being seated. We asked the waitress if there had been a problem with our order to which she responded “it’s just a very busy night”! There we sat, sadly some in our group were becoming vocal in their frustration which culminated in the six of us, after an hour and 20 minutes, canceling our dinner order and requesting our bills. The waitress who took our order never returned to the table to apologize or explain, instead a very pleasant young man was tasked with speaking with us and presenting our truncated bills. Obviously, there was no tip included! The appetizers we received were terrific and up to the usual standards. The waitress was less than pleasant and scores low on my charts! I’m not sure where the mix up lies but it’s very disconcerting to see time and time again folks who placed take out orders, obviously after your arrival at the opening of the restaurant, parade through the place while you are waiting to be served. Not a good impression on the folks we brought for their first experience! I’ll be back but expect to be treated better!

UPDATE: True to my word we returned (just two this time) this past Tuesday for lunch! We were greeted by two waitresses (not one we recognized from our previous visit), were promptly seated and drink orders taken. Menu selections were quickly taken and in a much more appropriate time line appetizers delivered followed in a timely manner by our entrees! The food itself was as fantastic as ever! Aromatic and flavourful the food ticks all the boxes! Thai House you have restored my faith that was so recently shattered! I’ll try my best to have our guests return to give you another try! Failing that you will remain our...

Ordered pad Thai and the flavor was unedible. Mostly vinegar flavor with underwhelming vegetables added as well. . Im confused about the ratings on google who rated this place so highly?my daughter ordered fried rice and chicken it tasted like refrigerated food. I told the waitress my food was not good at all they took that off my bill but not the other two meals which my wife and my other daughter had ordered which were the same exact thing pad Thai with chicken we had to pay for plates barely touched literally full as they were brought. My daughter and wife wanted to be nice and tried to eat it but had to stop because there stomach started hurting from so much vinegar. We have ordered Pad Thai many other places so we thought we knew what to expect. We ordered spring rolls as an appetizer they were good but like a third of normal size , you get 3 microscopic rolls for $4 . A sign out front should read home of the worlds smallest spring roll. We ordered Thai coffee and tea that was good , and the atmosphere was nice and clean but at the end of the day which happened to be my wifes birthday meal. We paid $54 bucks not counting my one meal that they did remove and left hungry with a loss of appetite. Bad experience never will we be back . We ended up eating taco bell...

My wife, my auntie, and two kids went to this restaurant today at around 1:45pm. At 2:15pm as my wife was just putting their extra food on a to go container the your female caucasian waiter/manager came to my wife’s table and told my wife that they must leave now and told my wife that everyone is leaving and that no one will be left inside the restaurant. When my wife told this young lady that she is just about to leave this waitress/ manager told my wife that my family can never go back to that restaurant because she claim that my wife has an attitude… We used to eat at this restaurant for many times before without any problem and the staff used to be so polite but when they recently changed management and staff, the customer service and politeness went to extremely bad and disrespectful…. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS RESTAURANT. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER RESTAURANT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOUR SELF...
