Being seated was truly the only perk of this experience with a reservation. Rather go to Wendy’s after that experience. -Now I’ve collected myself, I’ll go more into depth why the bad review. I’ve eaten here in the past year approximately 4 times with the experience being 4-5 stars hands down. Yesterday being seated was super prompt, after that it just went downhill with the wait of approximately 20 mins for drinks, then at 30’mins we ordered our appetizer (2) plus our main course so we didn’t have much more wait (at least we thought). Another 20 minutes passed with drinks now empty for sometime, a table of 6 was seated next to us (all older generation). I normally don’t say anything, but after an hour & twenty five minutes, of waiting from the time we sat, the elderly customers already got their appetizers while we still waiting for ours let alone a refill. I’m assuming the mindset what whom would tip the best would get the best service, but don’t just disregard us all together. I approached someone at the entrance at that point & stated please cancel our appetizers & if our main courses haven’t been started & almost complete, let’s just pay for our drinks so we can go elsewhere. The manager approached & apologized, stated our appetizers went to someone else by accident, but the odds of someone ordering the exact same thing would be pretty slim. She expressed a discount being applied, but I’m not there for a freebie, time is limited & making time for my family having a dinner is something not as easy anymore with my career. All I wanted from there was just to be a priority, but yet again our waitress kept just walking by the empty glasses, the time after that talk with the manager to when the food was brought out, you could tell they just started making it at that point. (So why not just do as I requested & charged us for the drinks we got, then I leave) I was beyond annoyed so got mine to go, the salmon was on point my fiancé got, but my sons lobster was still FROZEN… I just wanted my ticket to leave, to exhaust myself any longer there was more than a waste of time. I ended up just throwing mine away on the way out, not taking a chance after showing how annoyed I was, to eat something that could’ve possibly been spit in (not saying the case, but rather not chance). Don’t like being this person typing a novel, but it’s better than throwing the table across the floor plan from the frustration I experienced with the almost 2 hours there. Refuse to ever go back, also will reframe from ever recommending this establishment to any of the hundreds of customers I...
Read moreWhen you step into the Ivory Grille, the wonderful aromas let you know that you are in for a culinary treat. The manager greets you with a smile and ask you "how you are doing", which is becoming rare nowadays. It has a relaxing ambiance of original artwork and upbeat music that fits perfectly with the white linen tablecloths. Even the busy servers take the time to say hello. We started off with some fresh-baked rolls and a soup du jour, called Cheeseburger. The soup was rich and creamy, with lots of different flavors in every bite. All the soups are made from scratch with innovative recipes that you can't find in any other restaurant. Then they brought out an incredible meat and cheese tray on a wood butcher block with all kinds of healthy stuff. It was beautifully arranged and delicious. Our main course was the Rueben, which was stacked tall with fresh juicy meat on marbled rye, served with a fresh pickle. We also had the Prime Rib, served with fresh steamed broccoli, a huge loaded baked potato, and warm rolls. Part of the dining experience is how the food looks and the placement was not only original it ended up tasting even better. You can tell that Chef Chris P. cares about his food by how much attention he puts into every dish. Only the freshest ingredients are used. Stopping by our table to check on how we were doing was a nice touch. It was so interesting hearing about his extensive training and all the different styles he uses to fuse into these original dishes. Our server Yelena was very nice, attentive and knowledgeable about the preparation of the food, along with the menu choices. You can tell that all the staff enjoys being there. The desserts looked amazing, but we were so full that we did not try them. There was so much food that we had a nice picnic the next day with our take-home and it was still great. Usually, eating dinner does not end up being such a highlight of the trip, but in this case, it truly was. We are looking forward to our next visit and trying something new, but the steak was so good I will probably end up...
Read moreI was there during a wine tasting so I didnt have their food but their staff was still very friendly and helpful. The inside was very clean and upscale and very tastefully decorated and their staff was very well dressed. I would like to go back there in the near future to eat and actually try some of the food. If I would have actually been there to experience their food I would have given them a higher rating. I've heard their food was good but because I was there for an entirely different reason I feel that I am not able to accurately rate the restaurant itself but I will say that my experience that I had with a staff while I was there was excellent and they weren't the ones dealing directly with the people that were doing the wine tasting but they still were very professional and kind. If anybody came through the restaurant if even just to ask a general questions they still treated them as though they were a paying customer and of importance and I believe that shows a lot about how a business is run and I don't feel that they really had to be nice I guess is the only word I could think of lol so would still like to acknowledge that on the behalf of the rest of the restaurant even though I haven't tried the food yet the staff is very kindI would be betting to say they like working for their boss whom ever that may be LOL which will only make a...
