The service was absolutely impeccable. I am very picky about having plates cleared, glasses kept full yet not being bothered constantly while we dine. This guy was on point. We had to ask for nothing, an absolute first for me. I thought the pricing a tad high but the food was very good and not out of line with other brew pubs. Everything was fresh and although I didn't care for the red cabbage cole slaw with cucumber and white raisins it was good, just not to my liking. We ordered sandwiches and a kids meal. Three of the four orders were altered and all came out perfect. I hated the beer. I love brew pubs and have never failed to find something I liked just from the description. The first beer I ordered was just as described with a bitter aftertaste that turned me off. I didn't read the whole description so my fault. I sampled 2 others. One was very fruity, a little too much for me but not bad. The other, a dubbel, had a good initial taste but it seemed to have a strong alcohol aftertaste, almost as if it had a shot of vodka in it. I absolutely hated it. Even though I drank half of my beer the waiter comped it because I wasn't happy with it even though I said it was my fault for not reading the description. This place...

I thought the Selinsgrove Brewery was pretty nice. After reading Amy G's reviewIdecided to go for myself. My original plan was to visit the Selinsgrove Speedway on a friday afternoon, but that didnt materialize. We finally made it up though. The food was pretty good, I had some samples of the beer, and a growler (4.00) of rootbeer (6.00). We also had spicy beef stew which was the weekly special, for about 6.00.

The beers they had on tap were: Wilder's Hefe Weizen, Kriek, Captain Selin's Cream Ale, Summertime IPA, McNabbs Scottish Ale, Shade Mountain Oatmeal stout & White Horse Porter. It isfairly easy to find, just look for the destinctive sign, they have a nice patio and garden as you walk in. I also liked the fact that they had a shelf with games & books to keep our daughter happy. They also have merchandise for sale (shirts, hats, etc)

Closed monday & tuesdays. Theres both on street parking and a private lot in the back. They accept cash & credit. Please bring your ID for...

First , it's not kid friendly. Only offer cheese quesadilla for kids. Then the root beer we got for our daughter tasted like it was Poured in a glass that had had beer but wasn't washed. We started with pumpkin pretzels and they were good, but not warm enough. Once we got food our server never came to check on us. ( Does no one teach the 2bites -2 min RULE anymore??!)) I get they are busy but we told her that this was our first time. His sandwich was the Orchid Bird which he ordered with NO APPLES but they were in it. I got the blue ribbon expecting chicken,Ham & Swiss but NO HAM just tasteless chkn lunchmeat. Our food was obviously sitting under the heat lamp for a bit cuz the cheese was noticeably hardening & food wasn't hot. Overall disappointed cuz it was our Date Night and I was so excited to try something new and different. Lastly, we had to hunt down the server for our Bill or we would've been waiting...

Beer is really good, but the food is way over priced i paid $26 for a byo sandwich that was literally about cold meat sandwich and a side of basically slight beer flavored kraft mac and cheese, I also got a soft pretzels as a app that came out Luke warm, bland beer cheese and the mustard tasted like frenches yellow, our waitress was great, but unfortunately the food is not, the beer was the only redeeming factor but unfortunately we will not be back, maybe if the mediocre food prices came down significantly we would but other than that no, also many obnoxiously loud yelling people at tables where even the wait staff were looking at them making faces but wouldn't say anything to them

Lovely hidden pub with its own brewery on the property. Surprised to hear it is the 4th brewery in the state! The Scottish Ale was delicious (although a smaller pour than the others). Nicely-constructed sandwich so even with many fresh veg (at my request), it was easy enough to handle and not make a mess. Nice salad. My son disliked the unique flavor of Mac n beer cheese and the staff was kind enough to bring a different dish for him. Brian (the owner) was friendly and available to chat. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Susquehanna !

Always enjoyable. One of my regular stops when I come home to visit since leaving central PA. All the brews I've had are tasty (and this comes from someone who moved to Holland where the beer options are never-ending)...one of my favorite pumpkin beers I ever had from them last time in the autumn. Tasty sandwiches and pretzels. This time I enjoyed the sweet and tasty Solstice Dubbel. We got a plate of nachos with avocado and Mexican chocolate cake which we're also delicious! Remains a favorite.
