Well, the first time my mom & I visited this place, it was perfect. We decided we wanted it again.
We were met with some very unprofessional individuals. They threw an absolute fit when I told them the meat was very old & I wanted it replaced.
Here's how it went down. I told the younger woman that the food was not good. The meat tasted so bad, it made me gag. I ordered the Enchiladas Rancheros with carnitas. This is pork & when pork is bad, it causes food poisoning. I got food poisoning.
The younger woman went to get her mother-in-law who sounded frustrated with me. She kept slamming her hand on her leg & saying she didn't know how to fix it. She did say she could get something else for me, but NEVER HANDED ME A MENU TO PICK SOMETHING, AS IF I HAD IT MEMORIZED THE SECOND TIME VISITING THIS AWFUL PLACE. She gave my money back. I told her that I didn't want it back, I wanted to eat because I was hungry. Still no menu was handed to me.
This resulted in the younger one going to my table with my sick mother to complain about other customers who had a problem with them that day. I told my mom to always record when someone approaches her that way. I recorded the entire incident. The younger one would roll her eyes every time she left the table, like we were inconveniencing her. Well, we are now.
After begging for more food, WHICH MEANS YOU HAND ME A MENU, they were so angry that I had a problem with the meat & called the police on me. I called my lawyer & the health department. These people are unprofessional. You never know someone's profession. I left with bad food that's being tested, food poisoning the next day, & a lawsuit against these people.
Be careful what you do to your customers. It's...
Read moreLas Palmas Mexican Restaurant provided a fantastic winter family dining experience in Sequim. We were seated in the back room, which was ideal for our family with young children. Read moreMy wife and I love Las Palomas restaurant in Sequim, WA. I grew up in Texas and began working in construction at an early age. I worked alongside some wonderful men of Mexican descent and learned a great deal from their work ethic and skills. One of my favorite memories was that I'd go buy a cheeseburger for my lunch and then trade it for home cooking prepared early that morning by my supervisor's wife. Years later, my wife and I lived in the Fort Worth area where Uncle Julio's and Joe T. Garcia's offer some of the best Tex Mex food you'll find anywhere. But the food, service, and friendly people at Las Palomas are right up there with those two iconic Mexican restaurants. My personal favorite from the Las Palomas menu is their Chile Colorado. We really appreciate the friendliness of the owner and our favorite server. We always...
