Throw in a jar HomeDepot, refined extract out of a Walmart consisting of a dozen shoe rows, tourist/hunter/rugged attire outlet, add a WHOLE TWO ROWS of cowboy boots; section of military stuff, iron cast stoves and grills, smoker; dog, cat, horse feed; sturdy toys; sprinkle with a RELIABLE kayak or two, paintball equipment, all kind of generators, car stuff (select few things, you just do not SEE at an auto parts store); end it all with a selection of FINE saddles and 20+ types of Stanley thermoses - and you have yourselves a museum experience, even if you do not get anything. Stopped at Coastal Hardware and wasn't familiar with the stores layout, but immediately after entering the store, an employee welcomed me and asked if I needed help finding anything. They showed me the aisle and directed me to what I needed. I then placed the item in the cart and browsed. I was surprised at their inventory of items. I have other projects for my home, I definitely will return. Prices were comparable to other places and less then another store that had the same brand and model sump pump. They may be higher in price compared to Safeway or wallymart. But, again hard to put a price on quality. My reasons are friendlier staff who actually help u. AND my #1 reason is they have good looking, fresh fruits and veggies. Safeway has gone a few steps back in that dept. They've let their grapes go rotten, bagged lettuce-wilted and brown, apples look ran over. But, QFC has a higher standard for quality. I'll pay a few more...
