Carlucci's Pizza — Restaurant in Seven Fields

We ordered for the first time here by phone. We had a coupon for a large pizza and 12 wings. I called to confirm they did have wings because whatever links I clicked on would take me to menus that didn't show wings. The person on the phone was very rude. I ordered the pizza and medium wings. When we got home I opened the wings and was happy they were a good size, but it didn't look like there was any coating on the wings. I tasted it and it didn't taste like there was any coating on the wings. I called and told them I think someone forgot to coat the wings and again I was treated rudely. I told him I could see something that looked like oil or butter on the bottom of the pan, but there was no taste to the wings. He replied that when I order mild wings it's not going to have much flavor. Huh? I reminded him that I ordered medium wings and he raised his voice and stated that my phone was breaking up and he heard me say mild. Clearly annoyed, he told me I could come back and they would redo the wing order. I declined because we were 8 miles away and told him so. He raised his voice again and stated when we came in again, they would take money off the wing order. I said ok and he hung up. I don't know if this will actually happen because he didn't take my name or any other info.

Now for the food: The pizza was fine. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. We have already established that the wings I received didn't have any flavor. Fortunately, we had some rub from B-dubs and tossed the wings in that. As I mentioned, the wings were a good size. But they were also dry and chewy. It didn't stop us from eating them since they had B-dubs rub on them.

I will never order from here again. Customer service is awful. I was told over the phone 35-40 minutes and showed up even later than that and my order was not ready. It was over an hour after I placed the call that my order was ready. And all I ordered was a dozen wings! The blonde girl working was ignorant to me and purposely lied to me about my order when I watched her put it on the counter just a minute before. She told me it would still be a few minutes as they were coming out of the fryer. She then waited on another person that walked in, packed his order, and then took the wings order that I saw her put on the counter and bagged it and handed it to me. So they were ready and she lied to me! That’s just rude, ignorant, and unnecessary. I don’t know why she did it but I certainly would not employ someone who treated their customers like that. We had been wanting to try this place since we moved to the area because we had coupons. First thing, the prices are pretty high, but for good pizza I’d say I’m willing to pay those prices. But for the completely flavorless pizzas we got absolutely not worth it. I really wanted to like it. But the Deluxe white pizza tasted like absolutely nothing. We also got the Greek pizza and the olives did not taste good, almost a rancid flavor. The most annoying part is that I probably said 5 times that we wanted two 12” pizzas and then each time clarified that I was talking about the 6 cut, and they still messed up my order and made/charged us for two 8 cut pizzas.
