If I could give this place zero stars I definitely would ! This place is way overrated and ran terribly. My four year old daughter and I have eaten at this establishment once prior . The service was slow and the food was cold . The servers were huddled in a corner busy gossiping which I might add Guests could definitely hear them . I swore I’d never go back , but I decided to give them another chance . Immediately upon entering I was greeted by the new manager she was extremely kind and professional. We were sat and we waited for five minutes before even being greeted and getting our drinks , I asked the waitress for a few minutes to look over the menu , and she never returned . a table that was sat 5 minutes after us received their drinks and their order was taken . We sat there for 25 minutes or longer while I watched the waitress count money , tend to other guest and gossip and do nothing . Until finally someone asked if we had had our order taken and at that point I told her no that I just wanted the check . I felt so disrespected and treated unfairly . The manager tried to make things better but I felt so uncomfortable. This restaurant is NOT COLOR FRIENDLY. The staff are extremely rude and prejudice . After hearing two ladies laugh and talk garbage about us I immediately lost my Appetite . I felt humiliated and embarrassed with all eyes on us looking down as if we were trash . The only positive thing I have to say is the new management seems kind , I hope they do turn this place around . Please save your money and skip this establishment especially if you are a minority. There are better places out here that will treat you like a human being and with respect. I am a local server in the area and I’ve had better service from the Waffle House . I definitely will be sharing with others in hopes no one will ever have to deal with this again . HIRE better STAFF . TREAT ALL YOUR...

I have traveled to many different states, and have tried to experience other people BBQ. I have eaten world class BBQ such as Gates in Kansas City. Plus I love to smoke meat as well. My experience at this restaurant was absolutely horrible. Just about everything was sweet. From the Smoked Meatloaf, Baked Beans, and Regular BBQ Sauce. Just didn’t understand the high levels of sugar content in all the different food groups. I’m very familiar with smoked meat and the pink smoke line, but there was nothing smoked about the meatloaf. It was plainly undercooked and needed more smoking time. The food on the Bar looked like the deli at a grocery store. Where it’s been sitting all day or most likely for several days.

Very expensive for just me and my daughter. $54 and all my daughter ate was 2 drumsticks, green beans, Mac N cheese, and a roll. I had same thing, but had meatloaf and scoop of pulled pork instead of the chicken.

Customer Service was one of the worst. The lady was very unfriendly. Wouldn’t even look me in the face when speaking. I watched several people leave after eating. Not 1 of the 3 workers wipe down any of the tables. They leaned against the counter and talked about the rain and the weather. Short guy went to 2 tables and asked if everything was ok. Didn’t even bother to ask if we was ok, or if we needed anything. Looked directly at me and kept walking.

I understand that people have bad days, and I understand that sometimes things don’t come out as you intended, but this was a very unpleasant experience for me. I didn’t feel welcomed, nor was the food inviting. I will never eat there again. There was a reason we kept driving past this place for several years. I will continue to drive past it from here on...

I stopped by on 11/27 at about 2:30 in the afternoon with my two granddaughters. Let me first off back up by saying that last year I eat there and had no issues with the food or the service. But this year was definitely different. I understand that Covid has affected a lot of businesses and restaurants. This place of course being one of them. So I understand the difference in menu and the line set up. And the option to order off regular menu if desired, understanding that there will be a 30 minute wait. I ordered two items an adult size chicken tender fry plate with two sides. Also the loaded Fried potato with pulled pork and barbecue sauce as a topping. That in itself was $14.99. Mind you it did not include a drink that was extra. I was very disappointed in the quality of the fried potato and also the quantity of pulled pork which was more than likely equal to a quarter of a pound at the most sprinkled over the top of this mountain of fried potato shavings. Which of them selves we’re over cooked in my opinion. Now mind you I have 16 years experience in the restaurant Business so I understand all about food quality and food cost versus retail cost. In my opinion, I in no way received $14.99 worth of a meal. The total bill was $41.20. The rest of the meal was my granddaughters chicken strips and two drinks. Way over the top in my opinion for what I received. Only my second time going there and will be my last. There are plenty more options in the area that I’m sure have better quality and quantity for the...

We walked into this place knowing nothing about it, we had just saw it and thought bbq sounds good. We come to the smokies multiple times in a year and we have ate at just about every establishment in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Now when you walk in they greet you immediately and lay out how the menu works. You can order off the menue or off the quick bar, we did both. The appetizer we chose was landed sticks (loaded bbq fries) the flavor that came from the pulled pork, the bbq sauce and the perfect texture of the fries was amazing!!! Next came our rack of ribs that was a served beautifully with tenderness that was fall off the bone delicious! This family sauce has to be the best bbq sauce we have tried in a very long time. Now to the sides, if you like chicken and dumplings this is the place to get it, we have a huge family and they all love Paula Deans and they are good but Paula's dumplings don't hold a candle to Tony's. Good, down home southern baptist fish fry type of dumplings! Comfort food ok. It was just at a good Ole fish fry when I had dumplings this good. The mac and cheese was also very creamy and delicious and his rolls are soft big and buttery! This place is a 10 out of 10 for our family and can't wait to bring more family and friends to a true gem of the smokies!

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time this past February. After our experience I do not understand why it has the rating that it does on Google. I had seen reviews of this restaurant on YouTube and they raved about the cheese logs. I looked at the menu a wee or so before our visit and was surprised at the $16 price for cheese sticks. I commented on one of Tony's posts saying that I wished he would make them half priced on the day we planned to visit. When I checked his Facebook the morning of our visit to see the offerings and specials for the day to my surprise the cheese logs were half priced. We walked in and were immediately greeted and recognized by Tony Gore even though we had never met him before. My husband decided to enjoy the three little pigs special of the day and I got the cheese logs. My husband didn't understand why I said that I only wanted cheese logs for lunch but he did as soon as they were brought to the table. He enjoyed his food and loved the cheese logs too. We loved everything from the time we walked in to the time we left. This is a place we will be visiting for sure on future visits to the area. There's so many more things I want to try.

Went here today for the third time ever. We enjoyed it the first two, so why not a third. Upon entering, they have changed the layout of the restaurant from a cozy sit down and relax place to a go through line, place order and pick up. That was the first disappointment. When we ordered, we thought that the price was going to be about the same as the last two times, but we’re flabbergasted when our meal of two pulled pork sandwiches, one side a piece, one piece of cake and two drinks was $78.00. We always try to tip well, so our total came out to $88.00. The last two times, it was much less but I figured that the amount of food would be worth it. Then came disappointment #3. The amount of food was tiny. The sandwich was on a bun not much bigger than a Hawaiian roll, and the side was in a school lunch kind of 2oz container. The piece of cake was larger than the rest of the meal combined. The pork was dry, the sides were okay but definitely not worth the cost. The best thing of the entire meal was the cake. I understand inflation since Covid, but this is absolutely outrageous. We will not be returning from here on out. The picture is the entirety of our order that we paid $88.00 for.
