Lucky's Deli — Restaurant in Seymour

When the men make your food its ok they are clean and use gloves the women don't use gloves when making food and if you tell them to wear gloves they act like they don't understand what your saying. I refuse to eat sandwiches when the old woman is behind counter but other than that. Their sandwiches are really packed and worth the price. As for prices they aren't that expensive i would give 5 stars but because of what I mentioned in the beginning I give it 4.5 stars. John and rocky are very nice as well.

If your in the Seymour area I totally recommend for anybody to stop by. My personal favorite is the roast beef subs. And for a heated sub I go with either the steak and cheese or pastrami subs they are great. My favorite breakfast sub there is steak and egg with cheese. And they got them 99 cent...

This small local deli has been a staple in so many peoples childhoods, and just lives in general. With three name changes, originally John’s then Rocky’s and now finally Lucky Deli! A wonderful convenience store with great prices, you can find anything you need there from lotto tickets, laundry detergent, Deli meats and cheeses plus tons of beverages. What makes this place so charming is it has been family owned for so long that you know who you’re buying from and the greatest part is they know you! Hands down one of the best places in New England for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. That paired with a nice cup of coffee from there is a wonderful way to start...

I've basically grown up with this place. PS: Formely "John's Deli". The egg sandwiches are excellent and super cheap. Every morning before work I stop here to get my breakfast and enjoy them every time. They have a good amount of assorted pastries for very cheap prices. The deli sandwiches are HUGE! Seriously, split it in half and share or eat the other half later. The smoking issue that is mentioned in other reviews is no longer an issue as they are not smoking indoors anymore (to my knowledge).
