This isn't a location I use very often. It's not particularly convenient; I was at Home Depot and it sounded like a fabulous idea for this dreary morning. I ordered ahead through the app and picked up using the drive thru. Awesome, truly. The person on the speaker was very upbeat and friendly, the kind that makes you smile even when you're not. The person at the window was pleasant enough but I felt like she couldn't get me out of there fast enough. It did not appear to be busy at the time.
I arrived at my next destination and decided to eat my pastry before going in. My chocolate croissant was squished beyond recognition. I would say it was unpalatable, but where there is chocolate, there is hope. It was meh. Squished croissant will never be a culinary delight. Picked up the coffee cup and it was sticky. Turned it around and sure enough, there were streaks of sticky turtle mocha down the outside of the cup. Could I have gone back and complained? Yep, I could have. Would it have made anything better? Not really. I just would have made someone having an off day feel worse.

Drive thru was actually pretty quick and I thought, "maybe things are turning around for this shop". Got my order and coffe fairly quickly and again thought, "hmm, maybe theyve turned the corner!" But my hopes were quickly dashed. I stopped in parking lot to unwrap my sandwich, took a bite and realized it was not at all what I order, not even close. So I went inside, got ignored, had to be abrupt to even get anyone to address me. Because this kind of thing has happened so often, I did not hold back expressing my frustration to the staff this time. Normally I give them a pass but this time was the final straw. The counter people were apologetic but the bagel guy in the back gave me a sarcastic, "have a good day" when I left. I predict this location will soon be closing their doors for good. Whoever owns this location you better wake up and fix this or you will be out of business. I for one will not be back. 6 strikes and you're out. You guys just cant get it together and Im done. You are never welcomed with a warm greeting or a smile for that matter. I am rarely thanked for my business. You need about 15-20minutes to hang out to get an order.
Today, I even made a little joke and the repsonse from the cashier āthatās not what I meantā she asked if I was eating there and I giggled and said ā Iād have to be pretty hungry to eat 13 bagels on my ownā Everyone is so serious and none of the staff interact and itās not a cozy place.
I am from NY so I do love their bagels which keeps me coming back.
A couple of weeks ago, I was emailed some deals. When I arrived the manger was at the register and he looked at me like I had 3 heads when I mentioned the offers I would like to use. No one knows what is going on over there. I have been complaining to the company since they opened. Nothing changes.
I worked at the Caribou that was replaced by the particular Caribou and man we had fun with one another and with the customers. This place is just night and day.
