I returned from a trip to find the eave of my home had been damaged. During the time I was away there was only 1 delivery to the house, and that was from the Home Depot (via store vehicle, not FedEx, UPS, or USPS). I attempted to resolve via Home Depot's 3rd party claim provider. I informed the 3rd party I didn't have video evidence, but that this was the only delivery to the address during this time. I was asked to complete several forms and obtain 3 verifiable quotes for the repair. I did all the forms, met with 3 contractors on site, and submitted back to the 3rd party. The claim was denied due to lack of evidence, which could have done before getting 3 different contractors on site. When I asked for evidence that the Home Depot driver was questioned/interview or why the burden of proof was on me vice the store I received no response. Bad experience with no store accountability.

Open for shopping. Curbside, in-store, or on-line order pickup at the Customer service desk. On-line service ordering works well. Just be careful if you are ordering stock lumber, whoever is picking out the pieces will not be as selective as you...the piece with the excessive knots, or slightly bowed may selected. Other than that no issues with service.

Had Home Depot install carpet they’ve came back twice so far to fix it. Photos are their “fix”. Saddle seams on new carpet, patches, 5 visible and raised seams in a hallway. All seams in doorways are raised because they melted the pad. Stairs are crooked and bubbled. Do not trust them with your carpet install

Bought a dryer on March 18, 2021. Was given a delivery date of April 6th. Got an email on April 5th noting delivery on the 6th between 7:00am and 11:00am. My wife got a call and voicemail same day confirming same delivery schedule.

At 2:00pm on the 6th called the Home Depot delivery number. Seems that the dryer hadn’t made it on the delivery because it hadn’t arrived at their warehouse until noon on the 6th. No call from them, no apologies from them BUT they could schedule delivery for the 20th.

Went to the Home Depot on the 7th. Btw, got an email that morning informing me that my delivery had been delayed until the 20th. Again no apology but it turns out it Home Depot sublets their delivery service so it wasn’t really their fault (insert sarcastic tone here). But they could give me $50 as a gesture.

I requested a refund. Home Depot processed that right away for me. Now....today’s the 13th and the refund was processed on the 7th. I still haven’t seen the credit back to my credit card. I have made two visits to the store (I’m in the parking lot right now after my second) and the best they can offer is for me to call their financial Dept tomorrow.

Conner and Nicholas are the Managers with whom I dealt.

Done at Home Depot. Lowe’s is delivering a dryer.

Update 4/14/21.....still no refund.

Update 4/15/21.....spoke with Isabella at Home Depot’s major appliance “customer service”. Maytag has “accepted” my order cancellation (awfully nice of them, I don’t remember buying anything from them). Isabella informs me now that I should see my refund in 7 to 10 days. UNBELIEVABLE.

Update 4/17/21..... Lowe’s delivered on time AS PROMISED......still no refund from Home Depot.

Update 4/19/21.....still no refund.

Update 4/20/21.....the refund is pending; nearly three...

I have had the pleasure of being a consistent customer at this local Home Depot, and I must say, their customer service is second to none. A special shoutout to Dave, who always greets me with a welcoming smile and an energizing "Good morning, boss!" It is this type of individual attention and friendly interaction that makes every visit worthwhile.

However, where I find this Home Depot falling short is on their inventory control. I appreciate the diverse selection of products offered, but there have been a number of instances where certain items I need are not available. I've noticed that these items are in stock at other local Home Depot locations, which leads me to wonder why our local store's shelves aren't consistently stocked with these items.

Furthermore, it's puzzling to me that I can have these items shipped for free to our local store from other Home Depots, but the items are not regularly stocked in-store. This additional step of having to ship to store, albeit free, adds unnecessary time to my projects and can be somewhat inconvenient.

While I understand that inventory management can be complex, given the size and variety of products in a Home Depot, I believe there is room for improvement in ensuring the regular availability of products. The in-store experience would greatly benefit from a more streamlined inventory control system.

Despite this, I remain a loyal customer because of the exceptional service I receive, especially from staff like Dave. I hope my feedback will be taken into consideration and lead to even better shopping experiences in the future.

Overall, I highly recommend this Home Depot for its outstanding service, and with some adjustments in inventory management, I'm confident it will be the go-to place for all home...

What a horrible experience with the HD app, curbside pick-up, and the MOD. HD texted me saying my order was ready. I responded saying I was on my way, as instructed. I checked into spot #1 and was the only car in the four pick-up locations. The app said they would be out soon. Ten minutes later, an HD associate came out, looked at my car and went back into the store. Another car arrived. Same associate came out, looked at their car, and went back into the store. Came out with car #2's order. I hopped out and told the associate I had been waiting almost 15 minutes. He confirmed my order by name on his device and disappeared into the store. He later came out with a second associate and they instructed me to pull into the pro pick-up area. Five minutes later associate #2 came out with associate #3, still without my order, to explain what was going on. Associate #3 finally said he would get my order and Associate #2 said she would get the MOD. MOD came out, never apologized for their horrible service, told me he was giving me 50% off and then told me I put in the wrong color on my van in the app! I said "Excuse me? I've been waiting 25 minutes for a curbside pickup. Do you want me to do a VIN# check to confirm the color of my van?" He said he wasn't arguing about the color of the van. I said "You just did!" I worked in retail for 12 years - many of those during very difficult times to find workers. I get it. But the MOD at the Shakopee Home Depot, the mobile app, and curbside pick-up at...
