I have eaten here quite a few times since they opened to see how/if they would improve. In short, the other Shakopee location is still significantly better and it isn't really worth eating here. There's probably only one order I've had here that was pretty good, and all other times had at least one issue that made the meal harder to eat. Whether it was temperature, taste, portion size, wait, etc., I consistently was disappointed. I have eaten here at least 5 times, but I don't think I made it past 10, since the location opened. I don't see myself trying this location again, likely for at least 1-2 months. Hopefully they're going to figure it out by then. I purposefully didn't bother going to the location during busy times since pretty much every Chipotle has horrible wait times if you try to go during the typical lunch and dinner times, especially ever since DoorDash got integrated. This is coming from someone that has both eaten there and done DoorDash and UberEATS delivery driving for the last few years. Employees don't seem to prioritize orders properly and go strictly based on time ordered and not if the person is already at the store waiting for their order. They really need to reevaluate their ordering system, and this issue is not limited to this location either. I would recommend that their app is reworked to let you select when you are here to pick up your order so it's prioritized and gets the customer on their way, instead of going down the list by order time or whatever they do now, for both DoorDash and normal Chipotle orders. Read moreCame in at about 3pm, ordered a bowl with extra white rice, regular black beans, double steak, extra sour cream, extra cheese, and red sauce. They put a good amount of white rice when i asked for extra rice 3 times. They put two scoops of black beans when i asked for a regular amount of beans. When i told them i wanted double stake they only put me a scoop and a half of steak even after i told them that I am willing to pay 3 or 4 times the amount for extra steak, the steak was stiff and dry and looked like it was out for hours. They still charged me for double steak even thought I had a regular amount. They put a ton of sour cream which i asked for, i liked that amount of cream. They barely put a hand full of cheese, on my bowl even after i told them to put more/a ton of cheese and that i will pay extra if I have to for more cheese. And when they put the red sauce on i told them to put a good amount on because i like the spice, but they barely put any on. When i asked for a large bag of chips they gave them to me but inside the bag it seems like 50% of the chips are fresh and the other 50% are stale and have no crunch at all. I ended up paying $38 dollars for a medium soda, large chips, a regular bowl with guacamole, and a double steak bowl. If i am paying that much for a bowl or even offering to pay extra for my bowl they should at least give me a good amount of steak and a good amount of cheese. I don’t want to install an app for every restaurant I go to. I ordered three entrées and 3 chips and guac. We arrived at the drive-through pick up and waited about 10 minutes. This is too long for food that I ordered in advance. We were given our food and I pulled around, we checked and the chips were missing. I tried to enter the restaurant but the doors were locked. No indoor service. So I pulled around the drive-through. Waited 10 minutes again. Informed the employee that we didn’t get chips, he said we don’t have any chips. This was not mentioned when we picked up the food. I reached out to customer support, they gave me a coupon for three chips and guac. I checked a week later and now any items with chips were disabled on the menu. I checked three more times and the same situation. The coupons were set to expire after 30 days so I went to the location, again no indoor seating allowed so I pulled through the drive-through. I explained my situation, Employee said their fryer was broken so no chips. I messaged customer support and explain the situation. They sent me three new coupons for chips and guac. I replied explaining again that the chip fryer was broke. They sent me a coupon for a free entrée. I ordered the free entrée online and total was zero dollars.
