We stayed 3 nights in a room with a king bed & "2 person jetted tub". We didn't spend much time in the room as we left right after eating breakfast and didn't get back till late in the evening. There's not much for restaurants close by, but since it's just off the highway so it's convenient to hop on and head into town. There's Green space between this hotel & the one next to it so you don't have to worry about having someone looking in on you. There are 2 gliders & tables with chairs out front for the guests to sit & relax. The room was nice, not great, but nice. The bed was comfortable, Jet tub worked like it's supposed to, & room was clean for the most part. The staff was great. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. The waffles tasted like the batter wasn't stirred up enough, which explained why it came out of the dispenser like there were clumps stopping up the spicket. The chocolate waffles tasted better than the plain ones but they didn't really have a chocolate taste to them. To my surprise, Sunday had hash which was good (kinda hard to screw up canned hash). Their biscuits & gravy were pretty good with lots of meat & just the right thicknesses to the gravy. We were surprised when we came back to the room Saturday evening to the plates & cups from breakfast that were still where we put them in the morning. There cleaning staff only works till noon on Sunday (not sure if that's all the time), but I still expected the room to be cleaned including getting rid of the garbage.

1st off the room I reserved on the Country Inn website was not the room it was listed as. I booked and paid for a 2 room whirlpool suite as listed on the web site and upon arrival it turned out to be one room with a whirlpool tub. The first room I was placed into had no working vent and when we arrived our room started to fill with marijuana smoke, the front desk staff came and checked on the issue and moved me to another room. It was located next to the pool and so was very humid inside, to the point that they had a Damp-Rid canister in the room. The bed in the room was AMAZING! Soo comfortable and we had a down comforter that made it even better! The hotel was clean and quiet and conveniently located. Staff was amazing and helpful. There was no breakfast but food places were not far away. I have contacted Radisson and the hotel itself pertaining to the issues I had and was given a generic email response that showed very little concern for the issues I encountered. All in all an okay stay but will not be booking at this hotel again. Will look for another hotel in the area. Would not be able to recommend for the price. Would not be able to give a good review of the customer service I received post stay.

Not only did we hear noises all night long, we were awaken by an extremely loud vacuum at 8:30am. That was after we had to search for a missing plug to stop the water from draining in the hot tub. The curtains were falling down also. We bring both things to the attention of management and he brings up a plug. We go to fill the hot tub and the water wouldn't get any warmer than what I bathe my 2 year old granddaughter in. After being in the tub, I wanted to shower.... That was until I see this hole in the ceiling and instantly felt like someone was watching us. Also, the extra blanket that is normally in the closet in a zippered plastic bag was just folded and set on the shelf with the plastic bag sitting under it. We had no idea if it was clean or not. We paid almost $200 for this room. Anyone paying that would expect it to be decent. Our first trip here wasn't the best. This was our 2nd trip and we will not be back. Very disappointing. I normally always choose Country Inn and this one was trash.

This hotel was disgusting and kept getting worse throughout the course of our trip.

We started by checking in after a 5 hour drive. We hauled our bags to the room and there was a maintenance guy in the room when we got there. He told us the whirlpool was broken. The lady at the front desk spent 15 mins on the phone while we sat there with all of our bags waiting to get into the room. She ultimately got us into a different room. Great.

I lay down on the bed and put my head down when my daughter says "Gross! Your pillow is full of black hairs!". Sure enough, the pillow-case was full of black hairs. I threw the pillow onto the floor and got a different one.

We went to the pool later on in the night as it was getting dark. There were no lights and finally once it was almost pitch black, I got out to try to find a light switch. Nothing worked. I went to grab a towel and they were all gone so I picked up the "emergency" phone that calls the front desk and there wasn't even a dial-tone. So I walked up to the lobby, dripping wet, to find nobody there. I rung the bell and stood there for 5 mins waiting for a guy to come down the stairs. He didn't even apologize or anything, but he did get the lights on.

The next day we spent at the theme park, but since there were black hairs on the pillow, I made sure to put the card on the bed that prompts them to change the sheets. We got back late at night and to our surprise, the bed wasn't even touched. There were new towels, but nothing was cleaned. I went to the front desk to ask her what happened and she said she had no idea but asked if I needed any extra towels or trash bags or anything.

I went back to the room and my daughter was going to try the whirlpool out. We turned it on and a lot of gross dirt and grime came out, so we rinsed it and flushed everything out and she took a bath. The light above the whirlpool kept flicking on and off. Everything at this place either seemed to be dirty or broken.

So the next morning we checked out and I asked to speak to a manager. This was on a Wednesday. The lady said there was no manager there so I could call back Friday. I said, no, please have the manager call me on Friday. She said she would have him do that. I didn't hear anything for two weeks so I called back. Once again, a manager was not there, so I left a message. The next day, at about 3pm I called again and asked for a manager. The lady said yes, one is here and proceeded to banter back and forth with him before handing the phone over. I could hear him telling her to ask me what my name is and what it is regarding. Really? He's right there, just let me talk to him.

Finally the manager came to the phone and listened to everything. He apologized for some stuff but kinda blamed me for not addressing it when I was there, which I totally did. He then offered me 20% back on my first night's stay which I said was unacceptable. He said that's the best he can do. I told him I would be charging back the amount on my credit card and writing this review. He got very defensive and told me not to threaten him and that I can do whatever I'm going to do and he's going to do whatever he is going to do and may come after me.

Overall, the whole experience was disgusting. I will never stay at this place again and I suggest you don't either unless you...

I recently stayed at an economy hotel franchise that was owned by a family, doing their best to be excellent, but maybe not so much. Let me explain. I could see that they were trying to give the appearance of a hotel that could get 5 stars. They were remodeling and trying to make it look better, BUT they were doing nothing for some significant issues in the appearance AND their customer service was sub-par. We booked and paid for a wheelchair accessible room, but when we got there, they had “overbooked” and gave the room away, even-though we called a few hours earlier telling them when we would be there. They had new tiles, but filthy stained carpets. They had fresh paint on the walls, but sloppy edge work, splattering light colors on dark paint and dark colors splattered on light colored paint all through out the hotel and rooms. The tub had a new shower curtain but a gross dirt ring around the inside of the tub. They painted the ceiling in mis-matched shades of white while ignoring the rusted metal above the tub which allowed rust particles to fall into the tub like dirty sand. The bathroom had a new mirror with LED lights around the edges (cool), but that was the only light in the bathroom, which was not enough for my wife when she wanted to apply makeup. There was two light switches in the bathroom, but only one of them worked. The non-functional switch probably once powered the bathroom fan, which there was no fan (it had been removed and the place it used to be was covered up). Oh, and the cover for the light switch was missing a screw (a minor thing, but lacking in excellence). The appliances had fingerprints all over them, there was a long hair in the bathtub, the fridge did not keep things cold - at all, the TV was a single shared cable connection for the entire building. There were 3 towels instead of four. Three pillows instead of four. And on and on. The last straw was the attitude that we were the problem as if we were ungrateful guests staying in their home for free, which is obviously not the case. It’s ok but the experience was like putting lipstick on a pig. A pig is a pig and putting lipstick on a pig does not change anything. Do it right or don’t bother doing it at all. I think my biggest disappointment was dishonesty. If you post pictures of a property, they should actually be of that property and should actually be the current state of all rooms, not a single room used for the photo opp and if you are the manager, don’t lie and say that your not the manager, it’s pretty obvious when someone is ordering the staff and contractors around that they are in fact the manager....

This has had to be the most awful stay. I booked this hotel for a wedding. I booked 3 rooms. I called a few days prior to see if we could check in early because we had a wedding to go too. They said we could check in at 1. I also asked if we could have our 3 rooms near each other and they said yes we normally place them together. And I was like okay great. We get there around 12:30 we knew we were there before 1. And walked into the hotel the guy who was working basically told us what we are doing here. And I explained that we had called and they said we could check in early. And he said I can’t do that your check in is at 3. So even though I called prior to showing up and them saying we could check in early he wouldn’t let us. He was insanely rude. And probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had. So we waited in the parking lot and another guest showed up and they called that morning and they told them they could check in early too. Whoever is working for this hotel needs to tell whoever answers the phone they need to not tell people they can check in. Well I tried to cancel my reservation because a different hotel was nice enough go let us get a room. But they refused to cancel and give us even part of a refund. They guy at the counter eventually came out to the parking lot and let us use a “dirty” room to get dressed in. I signed and paid for all 3 of our rooms at this point because we had to leave for the wedding. He told us when we got back we just needed to grab the keys. When we got back they had 1 room for us. And our other rooms they gave away. So it’s 11:30 at night and we have 1 room for 7 of us. Eventually the one helpful worker got us one room. And our other room he gave us had other guests clothes in there luckily no one was in there. We went back to the counter to tell him that the room was occupied and he said he would get us a different room but it was going to take a bit. By the end of the night we got 3 rooms and it was 1 am!! We wasted so much time. And by morning when I went to check out they told me they had all the correct rooms transferred, and they didn’t so we had to wait another 45 minutes for the lady behind the counter to figure it out. And to top it off one of our beds had blood on it so basically made it useless. My overall experience here was just awful I would not recommend to anyone. The people working here need to be friendlier and not...
