Where do I begin, So I live in Duluth, down the street from Texas Roadhouse and frequent there at least twice a week in person or order to pick up., so I know the way things work. I've been working here in town for awhile and will be here for a couple years. I don't know the area at all. So its been fast food. Not healthy. So the front desk personal told me there is a TR less then 7 miles away. YAAA. I know to call to see how busy they are, they said there very busy and suggested I order on line. So I did, real easy process, and then there is a box to click for silverware. I did that. Then there is a box to click for special instructions. I listed that I have a free coupon for an appetizer and that I am a veteran and have an ID. Time for P/U was set at 8:00PM I arrived 15 min. early and parked in area that says for P/U. Sign says that you will text me when its ready. At 7:52 a young lady called me and said because I ordered on line that I will not get a veteran discount or be able to use my coupon. I was confused. I told her I paid you TR directly not a 3rd party ( like food dudes or ETC.) she didn't care and was not real pleasant So 8:15 came and no text, I noticed people parking in my area and then going into a side door. Weird never have seen that before. 8:37pm, i finally went into TR and waited 6 minutes more Finally a lady came and asked if she can help me, I said my food is over 45 minutes late and I would like to check on it. I gave her my name and she looked around and found my food sitting on a ledge. I was like wow that looks like its been there for awhile, and I explained everything about my experience. She stated that they should have given me the Military discount and coupon and she would speak to management at there next meeting. So how does this help me? It doesn't. I got back to my hotel. This is what I found in my bag. Ice Tea, no! Real sweet tea. And I am a diabetic. Steak and shrimp. Extremely cold Potato COLD!!!!!! Shrimp appetizer. COLD and RUBBER!!! NO FORK and KNIFE!!!! so I use my hands???? New York cheese Cake was for my son who is with me today. He loved IT!!! But the lids were not on the strawberry's or the cream so it feel on his shirt when he opened up the container. SO Laundry time. Salad, how can mess that up? LOL you did. The lettuce was dark green and spoiled. The crotons sat so long with the moisture of the lettuce that they were now wet bread. The bread. Again COLD!! I am so disappointed, TR is my go to place in Duluth. Here no way I feel my time was abused, my money was abused and told 2 different story's from 2 employees. I will repeat this review on every platform There is. Beautiful thing is I am Senior Inspector for 4 major projects in and around Shakopee area. And will share this experience with everyone. I called in advanced and was told they wouldn’t be able to sit together but they’ll try to get us near by, but we might not be close and we understood that. When we arrived to check in we were told there was no name for destiny on the wait list then we also gave them the confirmation number and the lady said she couldn’t find it so we had to do a new one. The lady said she’d sit the first group and once the second group was all inside they’d seat them. A few people from the second group came over to our table and was telling us happy birthday and was asking where would the second table be at and as we were talking about the seating the waiter came over and said he was going to see if there was a closer table. Well the manager Jen showed up and yelled at us as if we’re children who disrespected her and said “ Like I already told you before we CAN NOT accommodate to your group size and you CAN NOT sit together so I’m going to take the rest of this group to the other side of the restaurant! I didn’t understand the hostility or why she was upset because we never did or said anything wrong her face was completely red like we insulted her. I have never been approached by anyone like that and it was all because the waiter went to see if they could get us closer instead of far away which is something he suggested before taking the group to the table We also called back to get her name because I really wanted to make sure something is said about the level disrespect a manager displayed over changing tables and I think it was even more rude because we didn’t even ask to sit together the waiter wanted to try to get us together because it was more open sitting available. My mother and I called back to get the manager name and was baffled me was she said as she said over there phone we can’t sit together but when we arrived they said we weren’t on the waitlist which is strange and it’s as if she didn’t want us dining there. We couldn’t even get the waiter name who was very polite and nice because we lasted all of 5-10 min at the table. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or if she just didn’t like the look of our group because nothing about her tone of voice or facial expressions was pleasant and she even said over the phone when we called back to get her name “ Yes my name is Jen go ahead and make a complaint that’s fine because I already told you your group wouldn’t be together,” a complete arrogant and rude person and I hope someone can teach her better customer service what a way to ruin my little...

Went there on a Friday night & it was two of us. Becca was our server. The experience started with her pushing us to order appetizers three times in the first five minutes when we just got sat down. We had to tell her we’ll wave her down when we’re ready to order. The dough for bread wasn’t cooked fully, it had an undercooked chewy texture while the bread was still very white. Normally there’s a golden color. Becca took our order after we waved her down. Food came out and we were served the wrong steaks. They had mixed up our steaks but served us the correct sides. One of us got mushroom and onions while the other didn’t. Mushrooms and onions were on the steak that wasn’t suppose to have it which made it very salty. My steak did not arrive medium done and was dry. The whole meal tasted like pure salt that it wasn’t even enjoyable. Our baked potatoes tasted so bland and mine was just mildly warm.
I wouldn’t recommend this location. Becca did a terrible job and customer service is always important. Bread tasted undercooked. The food was incorrectly prepared and served. Overall the experience started with our server and we felt pushed and rushed to order because of Becca. It was not a comfortable and enjoyable dine in experience.
The apple valley location provides way better service and their food/service is nothing like this location. The bread has always been cooked throughly. Steaks are cooked how you ask, juicy, not smothered with salt from mushrooms and onions that you never asked for. Luckily there were no allergies.
