Short version: They are trying to scam people. They have posted at the front door that there is no cover charge, after receiving the bill the server informed me that there was a new rule (as of tonight) that they charge $15 cover per person & I had 6 people so it would be $90 extra. I ultimately had the surprise charge removed because it was bogus.
Long version:
I wasn’t going to leave a review for this place because the good and bad kind of equaled eachother out overall.. Great hookas, but terrible service.. great atmosphere, but kind of dingy..
But I’m here leaving a review because they are trying to scam people. This was my first time going so I thoroughly read the sign at the front door stating prices and policies. The two things posted on this sign that matter for this were: “No Cover Charge” & “$20 per table”. I came with 5 other friends (6 total) we got 2 hookas with add ons & ordered food / drinks so I knew the bill would likely be over $100… when I tried to pay they told me that they had a new policy “as of tonight” that they charge $15 a head for entry (a cover charge). I looked at the bill which showed $238.09. I then had to tell the server (who was very nice) I would not be paying an added charge of $15 per person since it is posted at the door saying otherwise. He talked to the manager came back & said they would be willing to give me a 50% discount on the surprise charge, I again declined the Spoke with the manager myself and they removed the surprise charge making the bill $129 ish (it’s more than $100 difference because there is also an unmentioned 15% added for groups but that’s typical) When I spoke to the manager he said that he would remove the charge if I promised to leave a review for them & specifically told me that it would be no problem if I mentioned this incident in the review so here I am, keeping my word which is something this business is clearly...
Read moreOkay so this is my favorite hookah bar to go to hands down! I love the servers because they always go out of their way to help me even when I didnt know what I was doing or if I needed new coals(I was a newbie) and they were always really nice about it. The prices for drinks, food and hookahs were fair, and they have a lot of different flavors which is cool because I like to mix it up sometimes. Plus you get coupons if you give them your number and they text them right to you, or tell you when there will be a DJ or belly dancer so you know when something cool might be going on even if you haven't been in in a minute. They have this cool blacklight downstairs space which is really cool because it's more secluded and private and you can talk a little more easily with your group/date if your there on a DJ night. But they also have an outside seating area where you can just enjoy the good weather which I like to sit at. Idk it's just a chill place where anybody could walk in and just have a relaxing good time and i mean, there's even a hookah bar right down the street from this location owned by somebody different I think, and I pass it up to come here everytime because I cant sacrifice the people and the enviroment. It's literally too chill to pass up. Hope it...
Read moreThe facility itself was very nice. Very organized, very clean, very well put together. My buddies and I had a great time. However, this all turned when we got out bill and it was $141 for 6 of us. When arriving, our server told us that if we would like to bring alcohol in, there was a $5 cover charge. We then asked her is that for all of us, or just who brings it in? She told us all, "I'm pretty sure it is just who brings it in. So, we leave, get alcohol, and bring it back. They ended up charging us $5 per person, even for those of us who didn't drink it. Three of them got food at $7 a piece. The really only good thing i can say about this is that the hookah was nice, and our server was nice, just not knowledgeable of the product and or prices. We will not...
