A Delightful Experience at Andy's Frozen Custard. Upon entering Andy's Frozen Custard, the friendly and welcoming atmosphere is apparent. You can immediately sense the family-oriented vibe, as dads can be seen hanging out with their kids, bonding over the delightful frozen treats. It's heartwarming to see these moments of connection and laughter, making Andy's not just an ice cream stop but also a place to create lasting memories with loved ones.
Another interesting aspect of Andy's Frozen Custard is the diverse clientele. During my visit, I noticed a group of nerds passionately discussing watermelon – its taste, texture, and the best ways to enjoy it. It's amazing to see how a simple frozen dessert can spark such enthusiastic conversations, showcasing the inclusivity and camaraderie Andy's has to offer.
Adding to the eccentric charm, there was a quirky sign encouraging patrons to "vote for emo." This playful nod to the emo subculture is a testament to the fun and lighthearted atmosphere at Andy's. It's refreshing to see a business that doesn't take itself too seriously, fostering a sense of openness and acceptance for all.
One of the highlights of my visit was witnessing a beautiful woman named Kat ordering the famous Blackberry Waffle Hackhammer. This enticing concoction is widely regarded as the best item on Andy's menu, and for good reason. A heavenly blend of creamy custard, juicy blackberries, and crunchy waffle pieces, the Hackhammer is an explosion of flavors and textures that leaves you craving more.
Upon trying the Blackberry Waffle Hackhammer myself, I was instantly smitten. The freshness of the blackberries, the rich creaminess of the custard, and the satisfying crunch of the waffle all came together in perfect harmony. It's clear why this is the standout item on the menu – it's an unparalleled frozen dessert experience.
Service at Andy's Frozen Custard is top-notch. The staff are not only efficient and attentive, but they also exude warmth and friendliness. It's evident that they genuinely care about providing a positive experience for their customers, which adds to the overall enjoyment of visiting this delightful establishment.
In conclusion, Andy's Frozen Custard offers a unique and enjoyable experience for all who visit. From the lively atmosphere to the outstanding menu items, there's something for everyone at this frozen custard haven. If you're looking for a place to bond with family, engage in riveting conversation, or simply indulge in a delectable treat, look no further than Andy's...
Read moreMy family and I have been frequenting this location for a couple years. For the first year and a half or so that we went, everything was perfect and I felt like we got what we paid for. I gave a great 5 star review back then.
Lately! The last few months have been atrocious! This location is getting sloppy, lousy service, poorly made ice creams, extremely poor service. Some big fella came out after waiting a bit, rushed us to give him our order, which came out completely wrong, and he ran back inside. When we were leaving the drive through, the same guy came racing out in a lighting F-150 and about smoked my car trying to leave super fast. Order was wrong again for the 3rd night in a row so I returned, parked and went up to have them redo my order. Again, I got shorted on a $12 custard that I have been getting since we started going there. I’m don’t with this location. This sucks too really, because Cold Stone is way out of the way. All the recent 1 and 2 star reviews lately are all things I have...
Read moreI was hyped about coming here, but then tonight wasn’t what I thought. I actually thought their “custard” or ice cream was going to be good, it’s basically another DQ with milky ice cream. It was decent, but I am going to stick to Freddy’s custard and McDonald’s vanilla cone. Their ice cream tastes the same like every place that sells ice cream. It’s not bad or good, it’s in between. Their sign said real frozen “custard”; tbh with you, they use ice cream, not custard. Go to Freddy’s, they use real custard because it’s very thick and not milky. (False advertisement in my opinion). The menu is located BEFORE you talk to an employee on what you want, which I thought was an inconvenience due to you gotta remember what you’re getting (whereas someone like me had to pull out my phone and type up what I wanted in my custom concrete). This wasn’t so much of a bad experience, but I’m gonna have to pass on this place. Like I said, it’s not what I thought it...
