We had our 3 yr old Birthday here today, I will give the pros and then the cons.
Pros ——— The kids loved the play area and had a blast. It was clean *Our party assistant was incredible, Cat, she climbed through the whole course, chasing our little birthday girl snapping photos, and even jumping into the ball pit trying to get the best angle. She was always asking if we needed anything, hands down the sweetest girl and very attentitive. She made our experience here great.
Cons ——— I arrived 30 mins early to help set up, there is a very odd set up for right when you get in the door, the line takes a bit to get through, we already had our waivers completed online so all we needed to do was be shown our room. I waited for about 15 min before anyone helped me, I then was asked to put my shoes into a bucket, remind you its winter and everyone’s shoes have slush, mud and salt dripping off them. They advised, other shoes will go on top of mine, I asked that not happen so my shoes were not runiend for when I left, she said they only had a few buckets, and seemed to be a bit annoyed of my request, my solution is get a different process to the shoe deal all together, that is not efficient at all.
I got to the room, it was only half set up. The manager said they will be in to finish and get the balloons in there, cups, forks and everything else. Needless to say, I had to ask three times for this to be completed and only were the balloons brought in, at 12:10, the party started at 12:00.
I asked the food be ready by 12:15 since we only had the room till 1:30, the food never came out for all the kids until 1:15pm. We had to do everything backwards. We sent all the kids to play first for a bit, they all kept saying they were hungry, so we brought them in and did the cake, and then asked again where the food was, and was told, the pizza got burnt and they had to redo one. 1:10 comes and we finally get our food. We had to rush the kids to eat, do gifts so we could be sure we were out before 1:30.
They really need to put in some benches for when you first come in so you can sit down and put shoes on or take them off. They have a huge area that is reserved for strollers, yet no strollers were there the whole time we were there. That space would be better utilized as a sitting area for families to remove there shoes.
All and all, we had a great time! Again Cat or party assistant was fantastic and made our day. We would and will be back. I’d just ensure you place your food order with a time you HAVE to have it done by and just bring some patience. They do have a lot going on and are short...
Read moreI'm really not a negative reviewer and I hate doing this because the owner is such a nice woman, but the whole experience was one disaster after another. I paid at least 22 bucks for the experience, and that was with a 30 percent discount. I was wearing flats so I didn't have socks on, but that is clearly not stated on the website, so my option was to buy $3.50 socks or not go. The bathrooms were out of order so there are only port-a-potties, which is fine, except I feel like there needs to be some sort of discount for that. The staff was so completely rude. When my son had to use the restroom and we went to get the bin with our shoes in it so he could go outside to use the port-a-potty, we were yelled out at the woman behind the counter who was frustrated that we were in the shoe area which was employees only, despite the fact there were no employees to help us get our shoes. There was no washing station or hand sanitizer in the port-a-potty. After coming back in, I went to order food twice. There was no one in the concession area and then when there was, the girl didn't know if the items on the menu were available and couldn't help me. When I came back 15 minutes later, she put in my order, but then the person in the kitchen forgot to make it and so it took 30 minutes to get basic food. With one nightmare after another, I'm really hoping the owner considers taking a bit of time to shut down until there are properly working bathrooms and a trained staff that learns...
Read moreOur 2 year old LOVED to play at Superkidz Club back in Mission. All the fun things to climb on, slide down, and jump on were perfect for her. We love the friendly staff, too!
The new Shawnee location (as opposed to the old one in Mission) lacks space inside and has limited parking. It just feels more crowded and it doesn't feel like there's room to move sometimes. Lots of parents don't really watch their older kids (probably taking advantage of the lovely new seating area and nice new made to order concessions, which is great) so the littler ones get bowled over and knocked around a lot.
With a smaller space, there is a lot of wait time to use some of the neat new equipment they have. The tube sledding slide is really nice, but we've only been able to ride it once in 2 visits because you can't get a tube because they're always in use or the same group of people sit at the top of the slide in the tubes and just talk or mess around and prevent anyone from using them. I've only seen staff circulating once and they didn't say a word to those kids.
The new ball pit area is neat and everything looks nice and new. I personally like the toddler area - the little carousel thing is nifty and the couple of toddler slides are FAST. But again the space is smaller so there's a wait time for those small slide and the four seats on the carousel.
As much as my daughter likes it, it's really hard to justify paying the same price ticket for what is honestly a less enjoyable experience than...
