Lino Ristorante Italiano — Restaurant in Sheboygan

First of all, I have to say that the food is amazing. The owner walks around and makes sure that everything is perfect. I had a special surf and turf and the steak was so good that I would never even consider putting any sauce on it.Now the dinner service was not perfect. Our waiter, after taking our orders, completely disappeared. He asked everyone around us over and over how their food was and if they need anything but never came by to help us. We literally got extra water and drinks from the bus girl but never from our waiter. It almost felt like he was mad at us and we had to wave people down to ask for anything. Our check came out to $154 but if we were asked if we wanted another glass of wine or if we would consider a dessert it would have been a lot higher. We were staying in the area for Valentines day and we were not in a hurry to leave. I think we just got agitated asking people for water or coke, that we just decided it was time to leave. My girlfriend and I got a reservation for this place a month ago thinking it would just be a normal restaurant, but we were proved otherwise. We were immediately greeted by one of the nicest people we have ever met, and were peoples persons. They handed us a menu and I didn’t know what half the words meant but everything sounded so so delicious, I wanted to order all of it but my stomach has limited capacity. We were then greeted by the nicest server destiny, she was bubbly and very polite and friendly. She made it easy to talk to and helped us have the best experience we could have possibly had. When we got our food it was plated beautifully and the smell was divine. The first bites we took absolutely shocked our tounges and we have never had such an experience as this. Our one year anniversary was this night and we were absolutely stunned by the sight we saw, we were handed the most delicious and beautiful tiramisu I have ever seen that was in the house because of our anniversary. We then ended the experience with kitty cocktails to end this wonderful night...

Solid 5 Star dining experience- from the moment we walked in the door to the time when we finished our excellent desserts, the service was so good that it made me realize what I’ve been missing for so long. It’s that old school professionalism with a lot of class, dedication to the art of presentation, and charisma that you can’t get any way other than doing it right.

I had one of the rack of lamb specials- medium rare and it came with a side of vegetables. I’m a meat guy, the lamb was done perfectly to smokey glazed perfection. And although you might not believe it- the vegetables stole the show.
