This is my husband and I’s go-to spot for pho. Sam, Peter, & Ashley always take great care of us when we’re there and our appetizers always come out piping hot and fresh. My favorite thing to get with the pho is the beef rib, because it’s super tender and juicy. My favorite appetizer would have to be the satay chicken and crab rangoons. Toys is also the only restaurant in town that knows how to properly make a traditional Pad Thai! Will not go anywhere else for my Thai food. In the photo I attached is their crispy rice salad called Nam Khao, which is a fairly new dish they just added on their menu.

Ordered a beef rib pho bowl, thai boat noodle, and cucumber salad. Not authentic pho taste you get from typical Vietnamese pho restaurants but does the job for a cold day, a long night of drinking. Thai boat noodle was so-so, not bad not amazing. Cucumber salad was good. Pre-made papaya sauce forsure. Would be great if it was actually mixed up in mortor pestle the traditional way to get some cucumber juice mixed with . Service was good. Nice staff. Menu had pretty good selection of dishes to choose from.

I'm giving this restaurant my 5 star, in a small city with so limited Asian restaurants, this will be my go to!! I would mainly come to get appetizers for quick and easy lunch. I love their selections in appetizers, just perfect especially their raw laab! Also I would sometimes order Pho, Boat noodle, Pad Thai Curry, Special Fried rice is amazing, or their Lao style Papaya salad because their sauce is consistent and flavorful. Customer service is super great all the time! Nice and pleasant people!

I lived on the corner of 8th & Michigan next to "TOY" above Our Tavern, "Mr. Glen's" called "Urbans" now.

I remember when TOY bought the Building back in the 90s & turned it into a Restaurant, she bought all the equipment to make it a Restaurant.

My Mom took a few classes given by TOY later on.

She makes the Best "Ruben Rolls" deep fried. "Out of this World Excellent!!",

I'd stop in by "TOY" quite a bit to order Ruben Rolls & Rice Candy for my 2 Daughters to go.

My daughters and I now make our own Ruben Rolls at home which are always a Treat for us.

We get together and make about 50 of them, deep fry them up then freeze a bunch. They are Outta this World.

Very Clean inside. I'd watch TOY from our back porch above our Tavern as she'd be cleaning all the Fresh, Whole Chicken Meat when it was delivered. She cleaned 20 chickens one day as I watched how Fast & Meticulous she was while cleaning them, and on Colder days she'd clean them outside on a Big table she had in the back yard.

"TOY" is a Very Sweet, Kind, Excellent, Hard-Working Lady!! I hope she's still running her Restaurant, it's been years since...

I ordered off door dash so I couldn't get refunded after seeing the great reviews I thought the food would be excellent instead I received my order of egg rolls DROWNING IN OIL it was SO DISGUSTING unfortunately my conversation with door dash is gone now so I can't show the pictures I sent to door dash 😞 so disappointed ☹️ like the egg rolls still had pools inside of oil inside the egg roll wrappers, and all inside the aluminum foil and Styrofoam container it came in they must of turned the oil on and dropped the eggs rolls while the oil was still cold absolutely disgusting and complete waste of money I will never order here ever again this is the second time I've ordered first time I said no peanuts 🥜 due to allergies and my meal came covered in peanuts I will not give a 3 Rd try! Also the chicken Thai rice I ordered said it came with eggs that ingredient was no wear to be found in the rice and I'm even skeptical now to even eat the rice if u sent egg rolls drenched in oil what other things are going wrong In...

Stopped in for lunch this week and had a 15 minute wait before we were served water and had orders placed. We didn't order the lunch buffet because 7 out of 10 dishes were empty and they weren't being refilled quickly. It took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. We had to ask for plates with our shared appetizer. We didn't get plates with our entrees eithet even though my curry bowl came with a huge ladle. The table had a glass top, but there was very visible food stuck under it all over the place (there was a brown onion almost two inches long... there is no way to avoid seeing it on the white table). There was food on the wall and mirrors. It was so dirty I honestly don't know why we didn't walk out. The food was ok, but with other Thai restaurants in town, there is no reason to waste your time with the poor service or risk your health...
