⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Delicious, elegant, and highly recommended

The Spices is a gem in downtown Sheboygan—offering rich, flavorful Indian cuisine in a setting that balances upscale ambiance with warm, welcoming service. With its floral ceiling garlands, rich wood interiors, and soft natural light, it sets the tone for a meal that feels special from the moment you're seated.

Service: The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. Our hostess/server struck the perfect balance between casual and professional, helping us feel relaxed and well cared for.

Appetizers: We started with crisp, cumin-flecked papadum served alongside two classic chutneys—tamarind and mint-cilantro. Fresh, aromatic, and a great introduction to what followed.

Main Course – Butter Chicken: Absolutely delicious. Tender chicken in a velvety tomato-cream sauce spiced just right—rich and comforting without being too heavy. The basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant, soaking up every bit of the sauce perfectly.

Atmosphere: Comfortably upscale. This isn’t a hole-in-the-wall curry shop—it’s the kind of place you’d confidently bring guests, a date, or anyone visiting from out of town. Whether for the food, the décor, or the overall experience, The Spices earns its spot as one of Sheboygan’s best dining options.

Final Verdict: 🌟 5 stars. This isn’t just a good Indian restaurant for the area—it’s simply a good restaurant, period. A perfect recommendation for visitors and...

My wife and I had never been to Sheboygan. We visited the beachfront and then decided to find a new place to eat. We stopped here. We love trying new food and we had never had Nepali dishes. We’ve tried Indian food, but not Nepali. So, of course we had to get the garlic and cheese naan. It was fresh, buttery and garlicky with just the right amount of cheese. The Samosas Chaat medium spice, oh it was sooo delicious. The flavors just burst on your tongue! Then my wife ordered a Lamb dish spicy, that had lamb grilled onions, bell peppers and carrot, everything was just the right tender crunch on the veggies. The lamb was seasoned so well!! I ordered the butter chicken medium spice because it’s one of my favorites and it did not disappoint at all! Both dishes were served with a large portion of basmati rice. They were so good, we didn’t finish it all, so we took it home for dinner the next day! One of the best Indian restaurants we’ve been to since moving here to Wisconsin!...

Food was EVERYTHING. I cannot WAIT to come back here. The shrimp curry and shahi chicken korma were Spectacular. I also bought the cheesy naan. The service could have been better. No hostess or host when i arrived and stood around for quite some time before someone noticed us. And only 1 server throughout. The food won me over and I have recommended this place to several people. What flavors! The Shahi chicken Korma (yellow dish) was thick, buttery, and so tasty that my date was requesting i share. The Shrimp curry dish (red dish) was more soupy in texture, and had onions &cilantro that enhanced the flavor SO MUCH. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place if you are worldly and like to try new foods. Man this was delicious. Place was...

I had an absolutely amazing dining experience at this Indian restaurant! The flavors were authentic, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. Every dish was a masterpiece, from the rich and creamy butter chicken to the aromatic biryani bursting with spices. The naan was freshly baked and soft, perfect for soaking up the delicious curries. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with just the right blend of traditional decor and modern comfort. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place will leave you wanting more. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and exceptional hospitality.🥰🥰❤️

Amazing restaurant. If you've never had authentic indian food, this is the place for you. The food is amazing, and I highly recommend you try different dishes. They even go beyond with how good their shakes are. Their servers are always nice, and it's just great to have them here in Sheboygan. As for the atmosphere: (this is more to the owner of the establishment) I think if you brought in more of the culture to the walls, used warm light, and decorated with plants and such, this would be genuenly the greatest restaurant experience. I just feel the place lacks decoration, but the food is amazing.
