Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

When I walked into this store I entered into another dimension. The wait was so long, even though there were 3 employees, somehow with just one couple ahead of us it was taking so incredibly long. When my turn finally arrived I ordered the non-dairy chocolate with sprinkles and strawberries. Was a little distraught to see “strawberries” actually means 1 strawberry for $1.09. I spoke up and she added more at no charge. Was also curious about chopping up the non-dairy ice cream on the same surface they had just prepared dairy on. I don’t have milk allergies, which would have been really problematic, but how about keep the dairy cross contamination out of the orders requesting non-dairy? My husband tipped them....

I ordered a peanut butter cup perfection medium waffle cone. I had maybe 10 pieces of peanut butter cups and no fudge. When I asked if they made the right one because it looks nothing like the picture I got a very rude, short answer. Very disappointed. Their answer was the display is made to look pretty. Not sure why they couldn’t have at least sprinkled some candy on top and squirted some fudge on there to look a little like the pic. The girl who was serving us was incredible and so so nice. However, whoever had a bun in their hair on 6/1/2023 at 7:30pm was incredibly rude to the man and son in front of us. He had clearly never been there before, and instead of helping him she was extremely hostile. His son ordered birthday cake and was given vanilla ice cream. When they asked what they did wrong, she took the ice cream back and was mumbling to the other girls next to her clearly about him and his son (who did nothing wrong).
