DO NOT DO THEIR 25 WING CHALLENGE. It is a COMPLETE scam! I went there with my buddy, and did it. You're supposed to win a t-shirt, and get a picture on the wall, but in actuality you get NOTHING. You spend over 30 dollars either way too cause the meal isn't free. I was told "It can take up to six weeks to get your prizes." Only problem is, they didn't ask me for my address, they didn't ask my t-shirt size, and they didn't take a picture. So... the whole thing is just an absolute scam to get you to spend a ton of money on more wings than you'd usually eat for NO reason. Based on this fact, I can 100% recommend to NOT go there... because if they're willing to lie about that, then imagine what else goes on in that place. If people will lie to your face and waste your money, do you really think the owners AREN'T gonna cut corners where you CAN'T see? Do you think that they'll lie to your face, but then behind closed doors (aka: The Kitchen) not let standards like cleanliness, employee grooming, or food quality slip? If they're so desperate for money that they will OPENLY scam you in the dining room, do you REALLY think they're gonna be above board with everything else? Anybody who has experience in the restaurant industry knows that you put your best face on in the front of house... it's why pretty girls are hostesses, and why well spoken overly social types are generally waitstaff, and why they get nicer uniforms. What goes on in the dining room DIRECTLY reflects what is going on in the kitchen. If you work at a restaurant, and you STILL go eat at this place, or allow your friends/family to.... then you are an idiot. Cause lying to customers is the biggest no no in the business... all restaurant staff knows this, and when it's done BLATANTLY... you KNOW that behind the scenes some SERIOUSLY shady stuff has to be happening. These are the kinds of places that pour 5'Oclock into a Grey Goose bottle, or change expiration dates on food, or tell you something is fresh but is actually frozen, or doesn't change the fry oil regularly because it'll save a couple bucks. ANYBODY who has worked in a restaurant KNOWS what i'm talking about. I am a chef by trade btw at a fine dining restaurant (not like that rats nest). I'm also going to write Randy Santels FoodChallenges.com to hopefully get the word out that this place is openly scamming people. Anyways... do what you will.... I feel like I did my part by warning all you to not get scammed out of your money like I did.
Update: Professional eater "Nathan Klein" completed this food challenge, and posted the video on youtube. So, you no longer have to take my word for it. I commented on the video, and explained what my experience was, and asked if they were honest with HIM. He said he had the SAME experience as me, and they gave him NOTHING. I cannot say enough.... the food challenge at this place is a COMPLETE SCAM.... and by extension, that means the owners have NO PROBLEM with blatantly lying to...
Read moreMy wife and I arrived at about 5:15pm on a Saturday evening. The place was a little under half full. The hostess went to check a booth for us and then proceeded to take a pick up order over the phone while we stood there waiting. Finally, a server came by and asked if we had been helped yet and at that time the hostess got off the phone and took us to our booth. We immediately had to move to another booth because the table at the one she sat us at was a wobbly mess. We ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip which was okay but I wouldn't call it a dip. It was more of sauteed spinach and artichokes topped with melted cheese. The flavor was good and it came with fried pita chips which were delicious. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 10. We also got an order of 10 traditional wings half nitro sweet Thai chili and half Cajun dry seasoning. The wings were nice sized and the sauce was delicious and fairly hot but they we're not as crispy as they should be and the Cajun was just barely sprinkled on. Overall I would give them a 6 out of 10. We had to ask for appetizer plates as we didn't get any. My wife ordered cod with fries and Mac and cheese without the bacon. Fries were less than hot and not very seasoned. Overall 3 out of 10. The breading on the cod was undercooked and soggy. Overall 3 out of 10. The Mac and cheese was good. Very creamy and cheesy. Overall 6 out of 10. I ordered the Cuban but was informed that they were out of hoagie buns so I decided to try the ribs with fries and bacon Mac and cheese. The ribs were okay. Overall 5 out of 10. Fries were the same as my wife's and Mac and cheese was the same just topped with bacon. I asked for ketchup and a side of BBQ sauce for my fries and received a half full souffle cup full of both. Our server, Holden, was very nice but did not even offer to take off the fish which my wife complained about and did not eat. He asked if I needed a box for the 3/4 slab of ribs I did not eat and I said no. He didn't even ask if there was an issue with the ribs or anything. Including tip we spent $100 which included my wife's 2 draft beers and my diet Pepsi. Overall I give this place 3.5 out of 10 we will...
Read more2025 update - Completely disappointed with the wings in person, in addition to carry out. We told the waitress extra sauce and she typed it in as wet wet. This is what came out. Where is the sauce? I don’t understand how hard it is to cover chicken with sauce. Completely lost our business And we were even considering using them for a large 80 person gathering for catering Labor Day. We came back this week to try it out to make sure we still liked it and if they can’t even comprehend a 10 piece chicken wing order, how could they possibly prepare 100 wings with little sauce?
2022 update - We usually come in and eat here 2 times a month or so. After bragging to our friends how huge their wings are and how delicious, we decided to order for the Super Bowl a tray of 50. We ordered and drove 45 minutes to pick them up. The minute I got home to transfer in the oven to keep warm, I was soooo embarrassed and upset that the sauce on them (after I asked on my order extra sauce) was so light. We had the honey bbq flavor. We had no one on the east side to pick up extra sauce even if we wanted to call. When we come in and eat, it’s never a problem. Not sure what went wrong here. Barely half each wing has sauce on them. I’m glad I got a photo of the food spread and it shows clearly how lightly tossed they are.
If anyone management reads this review, please make sure you kitchen staff is aware of the order ticket or the order taker is ringing it correctly into the system. Such a...
